Happy St Patrick's Day
Top o the morning from the Emerald Isle.
At least there's no parade today but will miss my 2 pints of Guinness in the pub overlooking the sea.
Time for a Father Ted box set marathon.

I trust that you know that the Guinness family were staunch Unionists and contributed funds to "Unionist" organisations. #boycottguinness.

Re: Happy St Patrick's Day
Slightly different to be fair.
Patrick brought Catholicism & broke the power of the pagans whose
Banner was the serpent ( hence cleansing the snakes)
Whilst George-opodopolis fought against the invaders ( Muslims) who fought
under the banner of the dragon, King Richard ( of the lion-heart ) & proud Catholic
was impressed in his spirit defending the Church of Rome he took his patronage in honour.
Replacing Saint Edmund as patron saint of England .

It says cappodocia in there so im happy enough.
Funny tbat Richard took his patronage though.
The documentary about Saladhin
( the great muslim warrior by a sharma or marr type ) also fought under the that flag/banner of the dragon & as a sign to George he wanted to sleigh the dragon in the way george had fought so bravely for .

Re: Happy St Patrick's Day
Always happy to bring enlightenment to the stupid. As even the most basic bit of research will show it is generally accepted (ie by anyone not terminally idiotic) that he was a Roman soldier of GREEK origin
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_George
May I suggest that you use any additional spare time you have due to self isolation in deleting all your social media accounts. If we can stop the spread of covid-19 we can surely stop the spread of idiocy as well.
Thanks.
