A Film to Avoid if You Have Nervous Tendencies
Is The Horseman on the Roof. A French film Le Hussard Sur Le Toit. It is all about an Italian Revolutionary caught up in a French cholera outbreak of 1832. Very topical as it features the mass panic in these sort of events. Not only is the hero in danger of the disease, but the hysterical Froggies are a danger too. I read the novel, which I found difficult, but just about figured out what was going on. I couldn't get an English copy of the film ( I think they are out there ). It wasn't as challenging as the book, as there is quite a lot of action. The scenery is stonking. Cholera is worse than Coronavirus.
