This week Ten years ago Keith Alexander manager of Macclesfield Town passed away at the age of 53.
I remember feeling shocked by his death and of course the events of last summer losing Justin draws a lot of parralels. Alexander was seemingly very fit and played league football into his Forties he suffered illness after his retirement but still went on to be director of football at Bury and manage Lincoln, Peterborough and Macc, He passed away after arriving home on the evening they had played Notts County. Like Justin he was well liked and respected throughout football.
As we know life can be very cruel, RIP Keith and Justin both taken far too young.

Re: Keith Alexander
Meanwhile, Nico Portal, the hugely popular 'directeur sportif' who played a leading role in the dominance of Team Sky and then Team Ineos at the Tour de France over the past decade, has died at the age of 40.
