Who is giving it a swerve on Saturday
Anyone finding something better to do on Saturday and staying away from crowds?

Considered it but trains are down again, it’s cold, it’s sh*t and I have a meal in the evening. Staying home.

The seasons over, and the spin is all ticket, sold out usual bullshit
The footballs crap, no trains, and Embleling is in full flow - but yes i will be in attendance as usual
to me its more than the football its the family. friends and mates that make it important

Well, I wouldn't miss it. At the very least, we can be assured that we will be peppering their goal with shots coming in from all angles.

I shall be in Birmingham, taking my doggie to Crufts on Sunday. Better to catch Corona virus doing something youlike rather thanat an event that is a chore.

Mainly a procession of complainants queuing up to declare that they can't make it or be bothered to go (again).
I will be there, as I was the last game; last season; ten years ago; twenty five years ago; as I will be there next season and in five years time.

Re: Who is giving it a swerve on Saturday
I have given my tickets away for Saturday’s instalment of the Embleford Show.
I know it’s the right decision

WSS the KC and crufts are surely responsible for so many problems with the pedigree breads are they not? Look what they have done to the English Bulldog and the German Shepard for example, many more could be named. They are killing breads, not helping them or improving them.West Side Story wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 9:44 pm I shall be in Birmingham, taking my doggie to Crufts on Sunday. Enjoy your day, but both need a radical overhaul in my opinion.

Re: Who is giving it a swerve on Saturday
I don't competitively show my dog, I think that is a load of toffee. She will be in Discover Dogs. People get the opportunity to meet dogs of all breeds and ask the owners questions. My dog is a fairly rare breed and the breed has no problems. The problems arise when breeds become fashionable and over bred. Also that is why I am not very keen on the competition side. It is all very subjective and does encourage breeders to focus on strange things like head size. But there are loads of side shows ( catch ball, obedience, agility dancing (?) etc ). As well as pet accessories and that includes walking clothes etc. So it is good. Dogs are good for us, this has been proved. They also do lots of great jobs: sheepdogs, guide dogs, assistance, drug dogs, blood dogs, explosive dogs etc. This is the good side of Crufts you could find a rarish dog, that is tailored to your needs. A bit like I did.

Can't wait!
Seriously, call yourselves Orient supporters but can't be bothered to turn up because we're not playing very well. Where have you been for the last however many years?

I'm going, but I'll be wearing a mask, washing my hands vigorously every 10 minutes while singing "Leyton Orient scored more goals than any other fourth division team in 88/89" and will refuse to shake Embleton's hand at full time.

Got a family members' 50th on Friday; so not taking the long treck down the M1 half tanked up still with Guinness.

No such thing as a super fan, but I reckon there are plenty of snowflakes that could form a list. Quite why anyone would want to do so is beyond me.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 11:23 am Shall we start making a list of who the super fans are?
