Why do you have to be 'loony' to be left-wing?
Using this kind of language just betrays that you haven't actually thought about any of these political issues, and that you are just regurgitating phrases used in the right-wing media, else you would actually have a meaningful comment instead of awful alliteration (see, it's not very difficult).

I think it's interesting that you would look at Bernie Sanders and discredit him because he is left wing - I'm not sure you really grasp what left vs right wing means to be honest, because if you think trump or pence are preferable options then I would love to hear why.

If you actually read Bernie's manifesto instead of The Mirror you'd know he supports ending private prisons, building a ton of affordable housing, significantly raising taxes on the wealthy, raising the minimum wage, supporting paid leave (which is not really a thing in the US), cancel all student debt, boost teacher's pay, restrict unlimited spending for political campaign finance, ban fracking and reduce CO2 emissions.

But you'd have to be a lunatic to vote for any of that, right?
