Both fail to pay players/staff wages yet again. 4th time for Macclesfield and 2nd for Southend this season.
It sadly cannot be long before another club suffers Bury’s fate.

It is very sad that some on here see the collapse of these clubs only as an opportunity to raid their squads for players. Short memories, we watched our best players forced out of the club.

It's ridiculous that a club can fail to pay its players on time four times in one season. In virtually any other business, employees would just walk out and go somewhere else. They are basically cheating by employing staff that they cannot afford to pay properly.

TBH there was only a few decent ones in the first place. The main reason they left was that the chairman we had was complete and utter c**t

Most of them probably have nowhere better to go. Football is a hard game to get into if you fall out of the lower league system - and I'm sure owners use that to their advantage.Highwood Man wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:56 am It's ridiculous that a club can fail to pay its players on time four times in one season.
