I'm not sure many supporters would enjoy it. I've quite a few friends who are West Ham supporters and they hate playing at the Athletics stadium win, lose or draw. I've not been myself, but they have.

I'm happy to leave it as it is then. Pretty clear that your comment was meant to be derogatory about council residents and you've failed to explain your comment was meant in any other way.

Re: West Ham - losses of over £27m
This is their fourth season in the new stadium, and it really doesn't seem to have uplifted their performances at all. In fact, since they returned to the top flight in 2012, they've been remarkably consistent in their lower/midtable mediocrity (save for the magnificent 7th they achieved in their final season at the old ground), finishing between 10th and 13th every time.
Evidently not the panacea it was made out to be by the owners - in fact, it's been a clear backward step in terms of the matchday experience. So, the question now turns to whether it has made them more or less attractive to investors, and whether a relegation could trigger a much more profound downward spiral of the sort that affected Leeds, Coventry, Portsmouth, Sunderland, and other similarly sized clubs in recent years. That would be funny, wouldn't it?
And I had no idea that they were one of only 8 clubs never to have dropped out of the top two divisions... the other seven are all much more prestigious, so I'm ready to say that it's about time WH dropped out of that list...

I must admit that I took it to mean them getting the stadium on the cheap when I read it over 2 weeks ago.

done without google!
I knew Newcastle and the others were relatively easy.
Its amazing to think of the "big " clubs like Villa and Wolves being in lower reaches of football league.

If you had actually read my initial post, you would note I referred to the " council house residents", and not the "residents of council houses".
Why? Because I was referring to the resifdents of one council house. Not residents of council houses. "The council house" is a common term to refer to the London Stadium.
Sorry to have to expose your inability to comprehend the difference between singular and plural words and the different meaning this results in.
Like I said, you need to improve your trolling

True. He is struggling badly with his spin and back pedalling these days.
Sad to see the deterioration.

You need to take a large pinch of the smelling du sel then fella. Not often I support an under-bridge dweller.BoniO wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 4:56 pmMoi - a troll? West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady: “The only fair and reasonable thing to do is declare the whole Premier League season null and void. Who knows who would have gome down or come up if the games have not actually been played in full?”

Quelle surprise she uses a world health emergency to try and sneak out of a relegation battle. Season should be resumed where it left off once safe to do so, hopefully with West Ham getting relegated.

I see Brady is slating the PFA over their refusal to sanction or advice pay cuts for the players. Is it cos west ham are skint and fairing badly through this crisis.

What about Man City, I can't find anything that says they have dropped lower than the top two divisionsOyinbO wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 2:03 pm This is their fourth season in the new stadium, and it really doesn't seem to have uplifted their performances at all. Good call.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 11:41 am Last day of the season, West Ham play Aston Villa
Theres an interesting fixture if i ever saw one
Imagine if a draw was good enough to keep both sides up?
Draw may be enough for Villa
West Ham all but safe
Hope Villa win and they and Dean Smith survive
