probably because it's the cheapest option. Which makes their reasoning for not doing more a bit odd. Of course, something could have been lost in translation.

A chance to ask some serious questions and 75% is about Away tickets and hand dryers. f*cking hell.

And they don't make a profit on them at £2 each, yeah right! Are all the dunkin donuts made in Spain?

The other 25% being questions, from a supporter obviously not from anyone present at the meeting honest, whether there can be elections for the next SLO and if there can be multiple SLOs.

The problem with supporter interaction is that it can be a magnet for cranks and people with their own agenda.

Where do I sign up?

I'll save these minutes for a night when I can't get to sleep. What a wasted opportunity. Scary if Kent goes away thinking this nonsense is all that supporters are concerned about.

What did you want asked? You could have forwarded your super important questions like 'Why wont Emblefud pick Judd?' to Off or Keren.

I think we have the opposite problem here, where there's quite a lot of "just happy to be here Kent!" type of thing going on.

Reading those notes it seems as if someone wants the SLO job?

:) Great that the hand dryers are still on the agenda. Must be a good 7 years since first raised when Matt Porter was CEO. Dunnem’s biscuit mending machine idea will be installed before decent ones are put in.

And a :) that the SLO question wasn’t answered directly at all. Tbf though, Keren is the ideal sort of candidate for the role.

Last :) that OFF was there this time. But at least he makes an effort to gather questions before the meeting and isn’t afraid to bring any potentially awkward matchday/operational issues up. He must have been chomping at the bit to be passed over for the first one.

Hopefully there’ll be an AGM again soon where some proper questions about finance and the board’s loans/plans can be asked from the floor (though experience tells me most of the OAP shareholder fans that attend are more interested blabbing on about their full-back and forwards gripes).

"ML explained that the Transfer Committee had a “Top Ten” for each position so there were usually 1,100 people on their “Watch List”. Somebody can't add up.

I wonder who the fans are that raised all these questions with Off about the SLO role?

Shame that Mat R***r no longer posts on here and liaises with his fellow fan, if he did then he'd be a suitable candidate for SLO#2.

I'm not sure he's interested in such a role, presumably too busy with all his other ventures.

It may be that Mat R was asking for himself?

Wonder why those who are so vociferous on here and so critical of what happened at the Fans forum did not volunteer to attend the meeting when they could have raised the issues they spout on about?

The number of people applying for the fans spaces is tiny and everyone who applied was invited to attend.

Seems some just want to snipe and bleat and don't actually want to constructively attend and ask questions

It was a ballot was it not? I can see by the list of people attending that you were there.

Don’t want to give too much away because I’ll inadvertently name him if I say too much, but having looked at those minutes and list of attendees, I’m 99% certain that Spen was there.

To be perfectly honest he’s gone up in my estimation. He is genuinely engaged with the club, giving up his time to attend these meetings. His contribution to that particular meeting was great as he raised some important points. Fair play to him.
