I have yet to meet anyone who successfully voted for the UK to leave the EU that doesn't want to remain friendly with the EU or doesn't want the UK to be a global player

They certainly are. De la Rue spent £4 million on tendering for the printing, but the government decided to have them printed in Poland.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 1:03 pm Are these the ones that will be produced by a French/Dutch owned company and manufactured in Poland? Funny old world.

I think you may have to restructure your sentence as Brits being able to ' work in all of the 27 EU countries,' though.
Unless your talking about holding up advertising placards or the like.

I know plenty of people who voted leave, I actually abstained, forcmany kany different reasons. My retort was in reply to the previous comment. Oh and by the way, I'm not a bigoted d*ck. I'm not a fan of the EU but I couldn't vote with Farage and the other assortment of self serving monsters. My feeling was that being in or out of the EU would still mean that the majority of us are still being dictated to by those who make the most from the industry of us all. I still think the EU can be improved but alas we won't play a part in that.Omygawd wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 7:26 pmOr me but I wouldn't want to meet such a bigoted d*ck who has such a simplistic and closed mind on why people voted to leave. But all the leavers I know are politically unaware and if I’m being honest, a bit thick. They’re not all racist tho, just some of them.

Well what else do you expect on this left wing dominated re-mainer forum ? Many of my friends ( including my girl friend, she is Asian, been living here a long time ) have non British origins, yet also voted to leave the EU. Problem is that many people on here just live in their own little London Metropolitan left wing bubble talking to few other than like minded friends etc. I think the recent General election is more a reflection of general opinions than those expressed on this forum, especially in the parts of England that are far removed from London and the big Cities. Seems like the only thing that many on here can do is to place insults towards anyone who thinks differently to how they do, like little kids throwing the toys out of their prams, need to do some growing up.
