The attacker was a Muslim who's repeatedly attended prayers for decades. Not sure why he stabbed his Imam, but not sounding very terroristyyy so far.RedO wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:11 pm Also another non-terrorist attack closer to home https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-51578770

The Gentleman Who was unfortunately stabbed is a muezzin not an Imam big difference alsoDunners wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 7:46 pmThe attacker was a Muslim who's repeatedly attended prayers for decades. Abi Watik, who witnessed the attack, said the arrested man had been seen at the mosque previously
Doesn’t really equate to your decades/Muslim quote

Re: Terrorist atack in Germany
Fair enough. Someone I know who prays there suggested he was a Muslim and had been for some time. He didn't say he'd always prayed at that particular mosque. But I'm just passing on heresay, so accept this could be complete bollocks.

Re: Terrorist atack in Germany
Whenever there's a far right terrorist attack, and a thread appears, there's always someone who tries to deflect from it, by bringing up jihadi type violence.
These far right attacks are becoming more common, and are worrying. Governments seem to not take the far right as seriously as they do extremist muslim attacks

As he was pictured with no shoes after being restrained he would have been accustomed to mosque etiquette.

He is alleged to have failed to provide the police with the PIN to access one or more electronic devices he holds ie not giving them the PIN to unlock his phone.
Its an offence that is not uncommon. My work have prosecuted a number of similar cases. Usually (not always) punishment is a non custodial sentence.
Finally, before any prison sentence can be considered, you need to have a conviction and this person has not yet even had his 1st court hearing let alone his trial

As for looking up to this person, why is correctly stating the offence someone is charged with and point thing out he has not yet been convicted mean I look up to someone?
It's called stating facts. I have not said anything about my opinion of this person ever

Re: Terrorist atack in Germany
So you accept he has been charged with an offence under the Terrorism Act? Good.
No one is saying he’s a terrorist yet, just that he’s been charged with it.
