Hi Max. I see now that Dominic Cummings is reported as being an admirer of Lenin and also using communist type disrupting tactics in his role as an advisor.

“Dom is a much more successful Leninist than any of the Leninists around Corbyn,” the friend says.
Cummings rather enjoys being compared to the father of the Russian revolution. But when he heard that someone close to Cameron had compared him to Mao, he threw back a quote from the founder of the People’s Republic of China at the Downing Street dilettantes. “A revolution is not a dinner party, comrade,” he would say.''

As my old alcoholic sociology lecturer used to say "just because some people get killed isn't a valid reason for not having a revolution"Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 2:08 pmQuote '' Cummings was heavily influenced by Lenin, who famously argued that “you cannot make a revolution in white gloves”.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 1:36 pmYes, yes you have cracked it Squidly. All of that he said she said nonsense you have posted above shows just how little those involved in politics know about history and revolutions.
Rupert Murdoch had a bust of Lenin in his office. That little nugget was brought to you by the Ministry for the Promotion of Public Confusion.

Re: Lisa Nandy would vote to abolish the monarchy
All this talk of Lenin and Corbyn’s Tankie advisors reminds me of my MBA dissertation I did at Chicago Business School (I was working for an Illinois based bank at the time). Not many stereotypical Marxist lecturers there, I can tell you.
And so bored was I with the Hayek, Friedman and business-speak bollox they dished up that I decided to big up Trotsky’s Permanent Revolution as an overlooked key management tome just for a laugh. Got a distinction and the highest mark that year
