@ Thor. No I didn’t pootle off down the A21 to Hastings - got a bout of man-flu which really has wiped me out since the weekend. Would have fancied the Haringey Boro v Ton Angels tomorrow night (come on Angels!) but don’t think I’ll be well enough sadly.
Wonder if Prop Joe is off to that one (he likes the Boro). And of course dear ol’ Spenny will be fretting today as his northern fancies entertain Bradford Park Ave tonight.
Was at Cheshunt on Tuesday to see them come from behind to beat Marlow 2-1 in Boston South Central Play Off.
Obviously bead at Spennymoor last night for their win over Bradford (Park Avenue).
Will be at Haringey tonight as well....Love the play offs, means games most nights of the week
Horsham the first step 4 side guaranteed promotion via the playoffs because they had one of the top five ppg scores at that level. A nice article on the match and the Lardy Army on the Isthmian site: http://www.isthmian.co.uk/bostik-matchd ... lard-56737
That’s the type of proper non-league nonsense I like.

To Thor and Slacker above - 3 weeks after taking to my bed with the latest round of man flu I’m still not 100% and I keep hearing the same from other sufferers. Sorry I can’t be more cheerful
It's only now like yourself that I can begin to feel better. I didn't help my self by continually going to all the games instead of being padlocked into bedroom and looking after my self, the warmer weather will put us all right.
The Wealdstone Raider will be distraught tonight. 2 up at Woking after 75 mins. Lost 3-2 after 90mins. Welling won the other NLS semi today. Also 3-2.
Both NLN semis gone to pens AET.
Maldon & Tiptree lose their step 4 final at home to Heybridge on pens 0-3! Not to register even one spot kick is pathetic, especially as they pulled back a 2 goal deficit in injury time to stay in the tie.

Spennymoor & Chorley win their games on pens. Spenny will be a happy chappy. Twitter-only Lillington less so, with Alty losing at Chorley.
I was delighted at outcome. It was a poor game where both sides were determined not to lose. Not a game for the football purists.

Chorley away on Sunday now
Hey look, you do post positive things. Just never about Orient.
Today I shall mostly be cheering on Tonbridge Angels at Met Police in their step 3>2 “super” playoff final. Plus wishing the Doonhamers well north of the border.
Don’t really care much about the results of today’s other English playoff games, and especially not bothered which vanity project wins the NL one.
Elsewhere will be keeping an eye on Lorient’s last regular Ligue 2 games of the season: need results to go their way now to get into the promotion playoffs. Plus hoping Venezia and Slask Wroclaw avoid automatic relegations.

Met Police aren’t actually anything to do with the Met any longer. None of the squad are serving coppers any more.
Do they still play on public property owned by the met though?
