What would you have ML do? Pay up anyone deemed not good enough and bring in like 10 players all in the short space of a couple of grief stricken months? The squad is evolving, be patient.
Not asking for anyone to be paid up - Alabi excluded - but maybe not extend contracts of players who might not be able to cope.
We're already hamstrung for next season.
So dont give extensions to the keeper who played every game, the captain, the guy who won player of the season or the influential veteran?
I wouldn’t have given extensions to Clay, Coulson or Brill, absolutely not. Said as much consistently, and have been proven absolutely right.
I don’t know enough about the arrangement and injury situation with Jobi to comment on that one.
