All of this could have been avoided if RE had acted professionally by ignoring the fan completely and walking off the pitch down the tunnel.
One more reason why he shouldn't be the manager and this isn't the first time something like this has happened.
Cloughie used to stand & talk to fans before & after a game .
Dont see the.big deal.
Unprofessional would be going over during the game .
Clough was eccentric but a proven winner and one of the greatest managers of all time - his record is unbeatable
He was also exceptionally intelligent and witty with a wonderful personality
Ross is like us an ordinary person trying his best under unusual circumstances
He be wise as I and others have said not to get involved with any fan - it will not achieve anything and devalues his managerial presence as he has just started in a very hard occupation where many fail - he really needs to act above any fan
So you admit UNUSUAL circumstances are as big a reason for all this ?
What are the UNUSUAL circumstances in your opinion & can they
Be used as a reason as to why something is good/bad ?
Ross results stats this season against O's stats
Ross Pl 30 W 9 D10 L11 F 40 A 41 pts 37
ORIENT Pl 34 W 9 D 11 L14 F 43 A 52 . Pts 38
Remember the fact that had Ross not been made to feel so unwelcome by fans & stepped back
Whose to say we wouldnt have picked up 3 wins & a draw under Ross & got past Maldon
In the cup .
9 points more so he could possibly have 46 points now.
Its possible no bad run would have followed .
S9mething we will never know all becuase of.
UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES .
Funny that eh .
Youd think fans of a club would understand this sort of stuff .
