Notts county, a proper club, will be replaced by either Fylde or Salford.
Not a good swap that

When we got relegated it was said that nobody has a divine right to be in the EFL so that's just the way it goes.

Maybe they will have a chance to sort the club out .

They have been badly managed for a number of years now , & some time down in the NL may sort them out .Then again look at Wrexham

It is a lottery to be sure. We did well to only endure only two years of the NL cackfest.

Agreed, I think that Luton, Cambridge and Colchester were down in the Conference longer than our Two years.
Thank God we have decent owners who have turned our club around in a very short space of time.

I’m glad that people realise how fortunate we are to get out of that dump so quickly.

It really is hell. I hope that Notts County don’t suffer too long.

So true and with the right appointments that they made, with a plan and an attention to detail we got out quickly.

It’s interesting that they have already had the first big planning meeting for next season and again it’s that attention to detail that counts for so much. Remember when Fergie ruled football he always said I never look back only forwards and I start planning as soon as the job is done otherwise you will get left behind. I see we follow that route of behaviour and I’m all for it. Rock on O’s.

To get out of this league as champions in two years is a fantastic achievement.
If we progress in the same sensible manner, I think we might be celebrating this time next year.

I genuinely didn't have a clue how long we'd be down there. It's a bloody hard league to get out from and the playoffs are absolutely brutal.
I think that's only going to increase as more established EFL clubs drop down. Notts County is a massive story but it seems to have got less coverage than when Burnley nearly dropped out but beat us in the ' cannot guarantee your safety' game.

Dropping down now isn’t as catastrophic as it was back then.

In one of those pointless “we’re ye olde-est pub” spats, Forest fans are disputing Stoke’s claim...

As well as having a decent manager.

I checked it out. There have been only 2 Notts Co managers in that time who have lasted more than a year - Nolan and Sean Derry. The last manager to spend more than two years at the club was Sam Allardyce from 1997-1999. Managerial stability is so important.

So true and it's one of the reasons why we crashed as bad as we did.

Hardy says Notts cost him £35mm. That’s only less than 4 seasons, all in the basement. How the hell did the plum rack up losses like that?

Even Coco only spunked about £9mm on us over 3 seasons.

£20 million of that was Kevin Nolan's bar bills.

The entire proceeds from everyone who passes through designated ‘Notts County’ turnstiles at Saturday’s friendly against @ilkestontown_fc will be used to help our unpaid staff.

Shambles.
