From the commentary it sounded like Happe had an absolute stinker.
Is this the same Dan Happe that Spurs and Leicester were after last Summer 😀😀
Not sure what that has to do with him having a stinker yesterday

Again your wrong
As I explained in a previous thread the wind really picked up in the second half to Orients disadvantage unfortunately
Fine. But what has the wind got to do with giving their winger 20 yards of space between him and the closest defender and being able to deliver that ball in.
Wouldn't you agree that generally thats regarded as bad defending regardless of if its rainy and windy, or 30 degrees without a cloud in the sky?
Watch the highlights again it might click👍
So you would agree?

Watched 3/4 times now and can't really see the wind affecting the cross, but funnily enough, regardless of that, the defending is still shocking every time i see it.

Some very strange takes on the goals, as usual!

For the winner, the guy who scores has been allowed a free run into the six-yard box unmarked. Nothing to do with shape and formations.

Ridiculous to blame Happe or Brophy for the equaliser. The massive deflection has done both of them. The goal happens because of the amount of space the guy had to chest the ball down and get a shot off, and the amount of space we gave their centre half to pick him out with a long ball in the first place.

A few minutes before the goal, Happe and Widdowson swapped positions.

When the cross comes in, Happe is too narrow and the cross comes in and Widdowson, who had been moved from the area where the cross comes from, is trying to mark the goalscorer, who would have been marked by Coulson or Happe had the change not happened.

For the equaliser, Coulson has to go to win that ball instead of leaving his man unchallenged. Brophy has to be round covering properly but doesn’t. Again. This is one of the problems with playing people who aren’t natural defenders at full back.

For their winner, it’s the f*cking about with formation that cost us. Going to a 3 at the back at that late stage, with Widdowson out on the right, was idiotic.
