Err let me see. I know, aside from her obviously defective personality you could consider the policies she is putting forward.

Your visceral hatred of this woman is clearly visible and worrying. It's time Labour had a woman leader.
Yeah, all those working class ex-Labour voters in Rotherham, Burnley and Wrexham are thinking "you know something, what Labour really needs is a female leader"

Embarrassingly out of touch and nothing has been learned since December 12
In what way are you able to speak on behalf of thousands of people and attribute your own sexist prejudice to them. You don't like women. I get that.
Blimey, that's quite a leap you've taken. Most voters want a leader to represent their interests couldn't care less whether that's a man or a woman. I doubt it'll interest you, but I was planning to vote for Jess Phillips before she withdrew from the race. But yeah, I hate women obvs.

I'm pretty much in full agreement with her political views. Surely that's what I should be basing who I vote for on, not how much 'charisma' or whatever they have?
If by 'charisma' you mean qualities required to be an effective leader then yes you absolutely should be taking that into consideration.

That’s irrelevant, you don’t get out of it that easily.

Post edited to include the comment I was referring to - I was trying to do a joke.

But anyways, of course their views are the most important thing.

How do you appeal to an electorate you consistently vote against things that are in their best interests? Dont envy whoever gets the job.

Name 3 things she's "Right wing" on

You're right on Starmer, Labour's wait for a female leader will go on....

Very harsh on Lisa. RLB is the one to worry about. A Corbyn-Lite leader is not what the party needs now.

Lisa Nandy says male child rapists who self-identify as women should have their crimes recorded as women and be housed in women’s prisons.

More worrying is the massive round of applause it got from the audience.

Not a fan of Nando but she answered those difficult questions really, really well.

The person asking the questions seems like bit of a willy.

The issue is Labour having no idea how to deal with the interests of two ‘minority groups’ it supports (women and trans ppl) colliding, and ultimately doing nothing for fear of offending anyone

It’s not transphobic to question where the line should be drawn on trans rights. Stating that men who say they’re women should be tried as women isn’t supporting trans people, it’s mental

No idea how you concluded that the woman asking the question seemed like a willy, but there you go

It might not be transphobic to question how trans rights are protected but 'just questioning' is the method of choice for people to espouse and spread their discriminatory views.

Luckily we dont yet (well, the laws about material useful to terrorism are debatable) try to punish people before they do anything wrong. There are plenty of laws around harassment and assault and methods like civil injunctions and CBO's that could be used effectively to deal with the miniscule number of men who might take advantage of the right to self identify for nefarious means. I think it's actually quite simple if there's an approach of seeing the behaviour as the problem to be addressed rather than the red herring of how someone might identify.

Ps. I'm fairly sure women aren't a minority group.

Women aren't a minority group no (hence the inverted commas), but tell that to Labour who seem to think they are.

Not sure what your point is really. There's nothing discriminatory about questioning what should sensibly be classed as trans rights, and you can't deny someone the right to express their views because you disagree with them.

How would you 'effectively deal with' men who identify as women after they've committed a crime?

The way she kept smugly glancing back to her camera, then got a strop on when she didn’t like the answer given, putting her coat on to leave before Nandy had even finished.

Fair enough, though it doesn't detract from the legitimacy of concerns over the answer given, including those from many women who feel their rights are being eroded.

Do you think these women who claim to have had their rights eroded are being a bit snowflake like. They need to turn their attention to men who are their real oppressors.

Focusing their wrath on a few trans women is a sideshow. They are a minority who are also oppressed
