We'll have to keep hold of Coulson because I fully expect Happe & Ekpiteta to leave. Dayton, Harrold & Jobi will have to either retire or move on. Ling & Brophy will sign new contracts. Sotiriou, I expect to leave for a club higher up. There's clearly enough talent there for a League One club to pick him up for nowt. I think Sarge & Ogie will be allowed to leave. Judd is also out of contract isn't he? He'll be off. Janata is also out of contract in the summer but I have a feeling that we'll keep on on board as backup to Vigeroux.

Brophy? Twice previously people have corrected you on this. How many more times before this sinks in? Ling and Coulson also has another year thanks to the unnecessary extensions. Judd may be out of contract.

Only Ogie, Sotiriou and Happe get offers for me. We've offered Ekpiteta new deals according to club staff in past broadcasts so we need to move on from him as he is clearly going to exercise his right to free agency.

Dayton has an option for another year. Will probably get it.

Our contract extensions have been an absolute joke, especially considering where those wages could have gone i.e. extensions for decent players, or bringing in new players. Aside from Brophy, I dont think we've got value out of any of the other extensions.

Ogie - Will get a new deal. Worth extending.
Sotiriou - Doubt he will go anywhere. Obvious extension.
Dayton - Never should have been extended. Might retire.
McAnuff - I’d keep him at the club in whatever capacity he’d like.
Ekpiteta - Unlikely to sign a deal, unfortunately.
Gorman - Cheerio. Will be lucky to get a league side.
Alabi - Cheerio. Will be lucky to get a Conference South side.
Sergeant - Pretty sure he’ll be happy to sit as a #2 for another season at least.
Janata - Will get a couple of years.
Harrold - No new contract. Think he’ll probably retire.

Of the contracted players, would try and move Coulson, Angol and one of Ling or Judd on. Wouldn’t be overly bothered if Widdowson or Clay left either.

Dayton wont control if it gets extended unless it's on number of appearances which he has no hope of attaining, so he will be gone at the end of the season.

Ling(I know why he was signed or retained in the first place. Wrong), Coulson, Happe, Brophy and Judd are all contracted to 2021
Ogie - based in the fact he hasn’t been given a chance in the first team I suspect he may be let go. Personally, can’t see a 1 year deal doing any harm

Sotiriou - without a doubt should be extended. Hopefully on a 3 year deal. Pure ineptitude from the club if they aren’t working on this as we speak.

Dayton - will be let too. Far too injury prone. Can’t see any other league clubs taking a punt on him. Might end up in the conference if not retiring.

McAnuff - blatantly going to move into a full time coaching role. I actually suspect he’s being groomed to be a manager when Ross steps down (again).

Ekpiteta - think he’ll probably leave although I don’t think his stock is as high as it was when we had raising eyebrows in the conference. Will go on a free to another league 2 club or possibly lower end league 1

Gorman - potentially will sign for Newport permanently. Depends on how he’s doing there. I don’t really know. Otherwise off on a free to a lower end league 2 team (maybe a recently promoted conference team)

Alabi - I have a sneaking suspicion that a conference team will take a chance on him. He’s one of those that clubs will think “I know he’s struggled but maybe he can find his form with us”. We fell for it, and so will some other conference club. Fully expect him to be playing tier 7 football in 5 years time

Sergeant - if he wants to play back up then we should offer him a year. Wouldn’t be too sad to see him go. Personally I think we need an experienced goalie as back up. No idea where he’ll end up if he leaves. Another league 2 team, maybe? As backup there.

Janata - probably released. Drop down to conference south.

Harold - don’t think he’ll retire. He could do a job for a lower conference side for a year.

Thank you so much for mentioning my English language error - I will mention this to my lecturer tomorrow

dilemma - a situation that requires a choice between options that are or equally unfavourable or unsatisfactory

Either way its still a crap cake

Cannot see Dayton getting an extension. He is injury prone and when is fit gets suspended. Got to go.

Sarge has done alright for me. Whether he wants to be backup is another thing. If he don't sign we might end up getting a young keeper who was released from a bigger club, it has always been thus.

TBH the departures speak for themselves, Dayton, McAnuff, Harrold, Alabi. Perhaps Alabi has already been replaced with Johnson, so three new signings to come in. I have a feeling we will lose Ekpiteta/Happe in the summer as well, so if that is the case replace them.

We don't need extra strikers now IMO, so we can afford to deploy the Harrold funds in other areas of the team.

Probably try and do an Alabi on the likes of Widdowson/Coulson/Clay next winter, so the next iteration of evolution can take place. At this rate, I don't think we have the squad to compete at the top next year, but we might have faint play-off hopes until very late in the season. The season after though, all the National League players would be ditched and we definitely would be better placed for a promotion challenge.

The only medal winner I think we will have left in 2 years will be Sam Ling.

Injury prone didn’t stop Ling giving him a contract last time. Or Turley. Or JobI.

You need 4 quality strikers to compete at the right end of the table imo. Seeing as Wilkinson now identifies as an (ineffective) winger that leaves us with these assuming Harrold goes...

Sotiriou - biggest fear is club doing "an Orient" and losing him on a free in summer. Looks a real prospect.
Angol - looks like he doesn't want to be here, wouldn't be surprised to see him ask for a move in summer
Johnson - jury out, not seen enough to know what he's about yet

That's not good enough for mid-table, let alone anything higher.

Need to invest heavily over summer to improve the quality of the squad. However the way the club is right now wouldn't surprise me one bit to see 10 leave, 5 signed and a couple of Spurs youth loans to pad out the numbers.
