8 goals in his last 11 apps for Orient and Dover!!
Love a goal scorer, sort of player sadly lacking throughout many of the years I have supported and followed the Os.
Young one as well, even a rarer diamond to find, one of our own as well ! People turn up to matches to see a goal scorer on the pitch, makes for a far more exciting day out to see your own team knocking in a few goals doesn't it !
Yes hope he signs a deal with us,its the way of football now even harder to keep young players but lease get a season out of them here,I said on here in the summer when we lost our two scorers they need to be replaced by players with tract record of scoring and said a month ago the two up front are there to score goals and had no tract record of scoring Soitriou and Kyprianou cauld push us up next year, hope kent thinks the same and can sort a deal out they look like they can score goals.

AW the trouble is replacing a striker with a striker who has a track record of scoring goals costs money and whilst we pay transfer fees the sums needed for the quality you speak about is possibly out of our range. We need to find the Bonnes of this world, develop them and sell them for big money not chump change, and I hope we’ve learnt from that lesson.
I do beleive that forms part of the clubs strategy both now and in the future as Kent explained that Koromas money was injected into the youth system and Bonnes into the first team squad. Going forwards any youth sold will have the funds reinvested back into the youth system, which is a good idea as the return on that investment hopefully finds you another Koroma for example.
Brentford sold a player in the window and I beleive it was for around £20m if we can get out of league 2 our players values increase, our ability to attack players increases and players desires to stay increase as well. Once you’re in the championship then you have the opportunity to sell someone like Brentford did for big money. It’s economics to scale against performance.
We need Ruel to sign, score us the goals to get us up and go from there.
From everything that’s happened at the club since Ling has been DOF (bar last season, but that was all down to the great man Justin) and the lack of ambition the club has shown this season with managerial appointments I really don’t think there’s any chance Sotoriou will be a Leyton Orient player next season. Agents are so
Influential now and unless we’re offering him top wages and a nice lumpy Championship manager style signing on fee he’ll be a league 1 or championship player next season. His current form is immense 8 in 11 and I can easily seeing him bagging another 10 goals this season. Poor management from above has let a player of this quality run his contract out into the last 6 months, when the likes of Sam Ling got an extension in October and Brill a 2 year playing contract. Ling needs to go!!!!
Writtlered is exactly right!...to have your own home grown players under your nose and not get them signed on a 2/3 year contract when there outstanding abilities and skills are right in front of you is scandalous. If i owned the club and we let talent leave the club prematurely and continuously then certain other people would be leaving with them.
