Re: Ouss Cisse
To get him to sign
1) We need to make him a financially competitive offer
2) We need to show ambitions of promotion for next season - be that an upturn in performances and results this season, keeping the younger prospects on and bringing in further improvements
3) Not withdrawing any offer if he hasn't signed it by 1st May.

Re: Ouss Cisse
Oh man, what a pairing they would have made.
We'd probably be able to play just 2 central midfielders, like what we did in the olden days, when we had central midfielders that were ok.

He certainly looked the part when they stuffed us 2-4 a few months ago.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 1:34 pm What about Adams? Is he available? I'd like him back too.
Not sure Ling would swallow his pride though.

Re: Ouss Cisse
Indeed.
I'd get Ebou to hold and try and play Ouss just in behind the front two.

Agree, this forum should be more of a friendly fans forum where views and comments can be freely given, you gave your opinion, not a bad one at all in fact, so surely, any negative backchat was not really necessary !Kitch’s Magic Toes wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 6:06 pmCongratulations on ‘giving back’ personal abuse that you, er, didn’t get. Good to see you have doubled-down on your abusive comments fella (on here anyway). Not sure why you keep name-dropping me either - a bit creepy to be honest.Milano wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 6:43 pm Hey, l agree but l'm tired of being reasonable with people who regard my honestly given views as "ludicrous" or l'm a "half wit" ir even "on drugs". Best to settle down a bit and focus your emotions on supporting the team.
PS Your personal abuse of me on the other board should rightly end with a ban as it is not only unseemly but demeaning to you.

I've not read anything over there to get yourself banned.Milano wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 6:43 pm Hey, l agree but l'm tired of being reasonable with people who regard my honestly given views as "ludicrous" or l'm a "half wit" ir even "on drugs". My opinion and feel free to use it or not. Rather than keep going backwards and forwards arguing why dont you just ignore dis and in turn dis ignore you? That way civility will win through.

Must've missed something here, why the hostilities?
It's beginning to get to the point whereby the primary motives for posting are [generally] not of a football nature. This thread is a perfect example.
But I could have missed something obvious I suppose.

Re: Ouss Cisse
I don't think you understand how a forum works, the act of posting up an opinion is an open invite for it to be critiqued (both negatively or positively). Indeed everyone has the the right to post their view, as as such everyone has a right to respond to that view. To be fair you're seen this guy play twice in the fourth division when we have had players play that role for years in higher divisions, so I can understand why they called it ludicrous. That is completely different to calling you a drugie or a half-wit though (playing the ball not the man)Milano wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 6:43 pm Hey, l agree but l'm tired of being reasonable with people who regard my honestly given views as "ludicrous" or l'm a "half wit" ir even "on drugs". Re: Ouss Cisse
Peter Allen, IMO best of the lot when it comes to a central midfielder, hard as nails and very skillful as well. Peter was very at home playing in the central holding midfielder role. In 1970 when he was in his mid 20s, he turned down an offer to go to Everton, they were a very good side in those days, winning the First Division in Season 1969-70. Peter is still the current holder of Leyton Orient's all-time appearance record having played in 432 appearances for us. At the end of the day, we all have our own favourite players and opinions of who we have seen over the years. Obviously younger supporters will choose the players they have seen playing in more recent years.

Re: Ouss Cisse
But I am not hurling insults around fella. As previously stated, I don’t know what your problem is. You clearly have some difficulty in understanding the views of others. That is fine and your problem. What I don’t understand is that you get so upset about them. They are not directed at you unless you get personal, which you have.
If you get so angry, see a specialist or use the foe button. It isn’t that hard. Failing that, leave discussions to the adults.

This is getting weird now.
You were not insulted. Someone just pointed out your idea was a bit silly, to which you totally overreacted by calling them a silly sausage.
Just apologise and everyone can move on.
