I’d say playing 3 people there when most go with 2 is overloading, yes.

Re: Ouss Cisse
He's done well but better than Tony Grealish & Stevie Castle ???
Think he's got some way to be ranked amongst them.

Re: Ouss Cisse
I’d say he’s a steady L1 midfielder.
Which is why he’s looking so good at this level, especially with the dross in our midfield.

Re: Ouss Cisse
not sure he has done better than Tony Grealish to be honest. A tad early to compare him with an international player.

Bearing in mind that Peter Allen and Tony Grealish were playing in Div. 2, now what is the Championship.

Yet he couldn't get into the Gillingham team . Cisse is a very good player but to say he's better then the players mentioned above is stretching it a bit,Milano wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 9:58 pm I saw most of Allen's and Grealish's (and Coates, Harper and others) performances and, for their time, they were pretty good. I saw Lucas and Lea too, they were better. Nevertheless, the clogging football played at the time and the endemic physical violence means historic comparisons are meaningless. Unlike others, l don't look back at yesteryear through rose petal specs. Cisse has a greater range of attributes than any of them in my view.

Yes, let’s move the tough-tackling, strong aerially, defensive midfielder out of the spot where he has been crucial to our upturn in performances and leave Josh Wright to fanny about bottling challenges in there instead. A truly inspired* idea.
*Inspired by Alberto Cavasin.

Re: Ouss Cisse
Alright fella, calm down.
You’ve made a couple of ridiculous statements - that Cisse is the best midfielder to have ever played for the club and that he should be played in a different position - and people are quite rightly picking you up on them.
There’s no need for that sort of abuse, is there.

Better stick to the other board fella when you cry to the mod whenever anyone makes an opinion contrary to yours.Milano wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 5:53 am..Kitch’s Magic Toes wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 12:11 amYes, let’s move the tough-tackling, strong aerially, defensive midfielder out of the spot where he has been crucial to our upturn in performances and leave Josh Wright to fanny about bottling challenges in there instead. You're a silly sausage aren't you. Who said anything about Wright?
Just the kind of straw man argument used by door-to-door god bothering half-wits. If you think this is convincing then wise up, if it's an attempt at humour, grow up.
This sort of abuse has no place on here.

Were you on drugs, or under the influence of anything else when you wrote this? He's not even the best midfielder in the past 10 years. Vincelot would have him on toast. What he is, is a very good fit to a poor needy side - and he's been very professional from the very first minute in going about his business. There's much to like about him right now.

Oh, "I'm more educated than you". Sorry Mr superior, I bow to your knowledge in all things - except football it seems. As for shut up, perhaps you should look up the meaning of forum.

Re: Ouss Cisse
According to Wikipedia, Cisse only made two appearances for Gillingham, he could have been injured or just out of favour. If fatty Evans doesn't fancy him we may have a chance of signing him in the close season.
