Re: Ratings
Since his mistake against Grimsby he’s been much better at LB. Is he the new Charlie Daniels?

Re: Ratings
Marsh and Brophy have been excellent at full back and it shouldn’t be changed. I don’t rate Brophy as a winger. You never got 90 minutes from him. At full back he can’t hide and he can link up with the winger. I have been a critic of his in a forward role , but fair play to him now in a defensive role he has been excellent

Re: Ratings
Kent Teague said before the game we'd had offers for players but none that were acceptable. Would assume Ekpiteta was one of those.
Would be a plus if we could convince him to sign a new deal. Stick in a relatively low buyout if it gets it done.

In a strange coincidence Ekpiteta's brother scored for Ebsfleet and Beutyman for Sutton .Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 8:43 pmKent Teague said before the game we'd had offers for players but none that were acceptable. Would assume Ekpiteta was one of those.

Re: Ratings
The result was always going to be more important than the performance in a genuine six pointer. Having watched our last three games this was probably our worst performance but we have bought ourselves a mid-table finish (probably) and will win more games this season with these players. Nuff said.
Vigouroux 6 - was in favour of him coming in as Sergeant's confidence is shot. All the saves he made would have been expected. Doesn't have a right foot and his kicking was as bad as Sergeants (the wind could be used as an excuse)
Marsh 6 - okay performance, a bit more conservative than recently and reasonably solid at the back
Ekpiteta 7 - tie with Brophy for best defender. Returning to his old form
Happe 6.5 - didn't have much to deal with but not as confident as he has been lately
Brophy 7 - starting to look a natural WB, very little gets past him, his tackling is solid and he linked up well with JMD in the second half
Cisse 7.5 - four games in ten days must be taking its toll but still our best midfielder. always there to cover when our CBs got dragged around
Wright 7 - decent performance, can't say that every week
Clay 6.5 - stupid booking and a fair bit of huffing and puffing (his usual game)
Maguire-Drew 6.5 - very quiet in the first half but linked up well with Brophy in the second half
Sotiriou 8 - the lad has an engine and a football brain. was all over the pitch, always wanted the ball and linked up well with Wright for the first and Wilkinson for his second
Wilkinson 7 - needs a goal but, for me, looks a class above L2 with his hold up play and distribution
Angol 6.5 - somebody else who needs a goal but did okay when he came on
Johnson 6 - didn't see much of him
