Couldn't be anything else really though could it, I believe they offered him to us rather than we went hunting him, we don't need another forward specially an injured one but it's costing us nothing.Disoriented wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 6:58 pmStrategic?Top of the JES wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 6:56 pm This is just strategic in my eyes.
I doubt we'll see much of him but Spurs are obviously pleased the way we have handled George Marsh he won't be costing us anything but it builds the relationship with Spurs and we may end up getting some much better talent next season if he comes in and plays a few games toward the end of the season. I think his manager at Spurs is Wayne Burnett which also helps us.

Who cares about that, we needed somebody in right now who could help us in our relegation battle.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 7:03 pmCouldn't be anything else really though could it, I believe they offered him to us rather than we went hunting him, we don't need another forward specially an injured one but it's costing us nothing.Disoriented wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 6:58 pmStrategic?Top of the JES wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 6:56 pm This is just strategic in my eyes.

What is the difference between Stirling being on the physios bench at Spurs or orient. Either way he will hardly be playing this season

Re: It's Stirling !
All getting a bit surreal.
The one area we are not short is up front. So we sign a forward. Who is injured. And won't be match fit for the foreseeable future. So he can't play anyway.
But we might be doing it as a favour for Spurs, in the hope that they may throw some tastier morsels in our direction in the future - presumably on the proviso we are still a league club. And to guarantee that we need some decent, fit signings now...so we sign an injured forward

Looking forward to seeing his 10 minute sub appearance in last home game of the season. Let me guess, we paying his wages while injured too?

First and foremost, we’re getting a really good player. Secondly, a really good lad who understands Leyton Orient.
Finally, it allows us to build a really strong relationship with one of the biggest clubs in the county, if not the world and it’s right on our doorstep! They’re always going to have players that we’d be very keen to bring in and aid their development; as we are with George Marsh and now Kazaiah.”
Think we're overplaying the link to Spurs there.
As for signing a forward...nothing wrong with more firepower to boost our options if it's not at the expense of other positions. It's a roll of the dice that the wait for him is worth it - we'll have to see.

Indeed, we'll have to see. Certainly agree we could use help elsewhere. It's statistically proven that upgrading your weakest links is better than upgrading other areas to the same degree.LeytonOstone wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 7:24 pmIndeed, we'll have to see. How is saying it's a roll of the dice polishing a turd? Think the only polishing is you playing with your cockhat too much.

Nobody is doubting this lad talent , it’s just the fact that he’s injured . We needed players in now who can help us get away from relegation troubleSmendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 7:21 pm"The deal allows us to develop a relationship and potentially further a relationship with Tottenham in terms of the recruitment of their players.LeytonOstone wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 7:16 pm All getting a bit surreal.

Re: It's Stirling !
It's the kind of signing that'd pass without much event if we were mid-table, easily dressed up as planning for next season as per SF's post. However in the current situation it shows the complacency the board has in us staying up by default.

Re: It's Stirling !
I went out and got a television today. I checked it and it does not work and not sure when or if if they can mend it.
They said I could leave it with them until the problem is solved
Dont really need a tele cos Ive already got 5 !
But I thought do you know what its a good deal because in the future I can always go back to them and they can give me another inferior item, but its always good to keep in with them
Im not silly !!!

Don’t really see the point in announcing this signing. If he isn’t here and not going to be playing, why tell us. There must be more to it. He may be training at Spurs but they don’t think he is quite ready.

Re: It's Stirling !
We already have 5 strikers. We don’t need 6.
Injured or not, this only makes sense if someone is in their way out.
Even then, with him being injured all season it doesn’t make much sense

Re: It's Stirling !
More like four forwards but your point remains that we didn't really need five now. Can only think they wanted more firepower for if we find ourselves in real trouble late in the season, which ties in with why we signed a player who played in League One earlier this season but is currently not available.
Hope there will be at least another incoming but Orient twitter suggests not.
