We’ve a middling team in this League that’s underperformed this season. No surprise that we lost to one of the consistently better sides last night, but it’s encouraging to hear we put in a decent shift. Results & points will come if we keep that up.

Points every time 👍

I’d prefer 2 defeats and 2 wins to 4 draws. We get more points

Yea we had a lot of the ball last night but we failed to create many clear cut chances, Wilkinson missed an absolute sitter and Ruel missed a volley from a cross. Most of the play was sideways and backwards. We really need some creativity in midfield, replacing McAnuff is massive and we haven’t done it yet and don’t think we will now until the summer. Just hope we get a result at Stevenage otherwise I really will start getting worried. #lingout #embletonout

It’s a no brainier, I’d rather we’d play crap and win . We need the points. Lose at Stevenage Saturday and the alarm bells will be ringing loud and clear.

I dunno - I feel like we usually put in a decent shift. It's just that it can be a bit shapeless and sloppy. But the players tend to put the effort in. It's not for lack of effort that we are struggling - it's for lack of wit, cohesion, structure, tactical preparation, and performance training

100%. We very rarely get ‘smashed’.

We seem to lose a few margin moments and that’s what makes a good team or bad team.

If Sarge against Crewe didn’t happen we wouldn’t have conceded until the 80th minute against a top side which isn’t too bad. The Grimsby mix up comes to mind as well when really we should have been ahead by the time they scored.

Our lack of goals means margin moments suddenly become even more costly.

If we don’t win easily at the weekend, I’m hoping we can come up on the right side of a margin moment for once!
