We should have defended it better and one thing they have been drilled on all their life is "track your man" and we failed to do that. Still it's something to work on when they practice set pieces and for the keeper to work on his movement under such deliveries.

I'm still happy we won and was pleased with our performance overall, we've a base to build on and push forwards with.
This keeper seems quite good especially the way he comes out for the cross here at 1:52 !

We can criticise Dean Brill's performances this season but let's be fair he was clearly showing wear and tear after a long and relatively successful career. Sarge, at 22, isn't going to get any more supple and agile. He could do with dropping a few pounds and doing a bit of yoga. He's supposed to be a professional sportsman.
Dropping a few pounds and doing some yoga? We are talking about Sarge here, not Brill?

I’ve not defended Sarge lots, in fact I’ve been calling for Vigaro to go straight in, but you can’t blame him for that.

There’s two guys standing in front of him ready to head the ball un marked, he doesn’t even know which one of them is going to head it so can’t properly set himself.

He issue here is Harold and Happe just letting their men run off the back of them like that. Really poor defending.
EXACTLY this FFS. I don't overly rate Sarge but the blame for their goal lies squarely with the two players who lost their men on the 6 yard box (and Ekpiteta for not having the confidence to hold the line).

With the amount of armchair goalkeepers on here, I'm astonished we conceded any goals at all these days.
