Two new signings by Tuesday...

Hopefully according to Ross Embleton.

Anyone heard who these may be?

I really hope these are 2 additions who’ve been signed with the intention of them starting, and not youth team loanees. Admittedly we have had some great players on loan over the years but would be much happier with a couple of players proven at this level

We aren't Man City,we can't shop at Waitrose...I'm afraid it's Poundland for us. :8

From Embleton’s interview it sounded like we had a couple of potentials that were withdrawn at the last minute by parent clubs (aka loan deals) rather than players turning us down. Although obvious Akinde chose Gills over us. Fingers crossed we can get these over the line and classify this Jan as a fairly decent window.

I'm not bothered if whether their loan's or permanent so long as they can make an impact and get us further away from the bottom of the league .

Based on Embleton's comments about players not being released by clubs they're more likely to be senior pros like Cissé, fingers crossed for a striker and either wide player or midfielder depending on what the formation plan is going forward.

Wouldn't be surprised for one of them to be a CB though, still think a departure in that area is a strong possibility before window closes.

A full back would be a good option.

We had two on the bench on Saturday, we don’t need one of them, nor do we need a right back either.

Centre midfield to complement Cisse and a forward of a direct style to complement the other three strikers.
