Should be behind already. We’re not in the game.
This is horrific.

What formation are we playing?
Can sort of understand JMD dropping to the bench. Looking for more defensive solidity and protection from the midfield. Got to balance that with us being able to produce chances though.

Sounds like we're even more negative that I was expecting. The twitter feed is Cobblers attack after Cobblers attack.

3-5-2
Cisse is doing ok. We’ve got a proper man in the midfield at last.
I don’t know what point is of Wright or Clay.

How sh*t is it going to look when we sack Ross after four or five games in charge after practically begging him to take the bloody thing?! It'll be three managers in a season (at least) with one of them (Ross) in, out, in out. The board have made an absolute pigs ear of the situation, they really have.

Stats aren't gonna look good... Don't think we have had a sniff yet. But, the score is the most important.
They are on front foot but there might be something on the break. Shame we've only got one pacy player out there, maybe Sotiriou on the bench as well.

Yeah...imagine they're only ahead of JMD because he's not as good defensively.
I'd replace them both...if we didn't have them for another 18 months.

The board have to do what's best for the club and avoiding relegation at all costs, so if that means sacking Ross then so be it as they are responsible for the mess we are in now.Eat The Rich wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 8:08 pm How sh*t is it going to look when we sack Ross after four or five games in charge after practically begging him to take the bloody thing?! Wilkinson looks head and shoulders above anything else we have on the pitch.

It's not rocket science, you continually play sh*te you will p*ss people off eventually. It looks as though the worms have finally turned and who can blame them.
29 minutes played and have not had a single shot on target !

No shots on or off target. Northampton have five, of which two on target.

Been dross so far to be fair.
If it ends 0-0 like this it might be seen as a success though.

It's a midweek game (where attendances fluctuate) on a bloody cold night you dumbass.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 8:15 pmIt's not rocket science, you continually play sh*te you will p*ss people off eventually. It looks as though the worms have finally turned and who can blame them.

Re: Exiles and match thread vs The Cobblers
On the upside we've got the second best goal difference in the bottom seven of the division.

The bad news is that it means we only have two more to come in the rest of the game.
