We need a win tonight but Ross needs one even more. I go back and forth on whether the only thing that matters is the result tonight. On one hand a win, any win could give us a lift, give the players a bit of confidence and we could find ourselves playing a bit more expansively. On the other hand a flukey win following an otherwise familiar dour performance won't do much to convince us that a corner has been turned. Forced to make a choice the win. Any win. But it would be a real relief if we played some football and looked halfway bothered.
Formation could still be anything but my guess 4-3-3. Harsh on JMD who has been playing well and is best crosser of the ball so the moment we finally get someone who can head it starting the supply is dropped. A lot now expected of our new striker-cum-winger Wilkinson
Marsh RB
Coulson & Ekpiteta CB
Happe LB
Clay, Cissé, Wright CM
Wilkinson RW
Brophy LW
Harrold ST

Will be interesting to see if there is changes. Had a feeling Judd would be dropped after almost being sent off last game around.
Could be a number of formations, even a 5-3-2 with Brophy and Marsh as wing-backs. I reckon if Brophy is used as a forward surely JMD would be preferred up there, his crossing is far better.
Think the aim is match them up in midfield with numbers and hope for a similar goal that won us the game at their place, with Brophy using his pace.
Surprised that Judd is dropped and even more surprising JMD is as well, oh well I suppose it makes sense that the best crosser of the ball, JMD is dropped, when Harrold who can get on to crosses is back in the team.
I hope I'm wrong but that line up does look very, very conservative. I guess we're going to try (again) to grind out a 0-0 and if we nick anything then that's a Rossy Bonus.
