Re: **Alabi off!**
Can only be a hold-up due to money, ie the amount we are having to pay Eastleigh to take him.
They only fielded 4 subs in one of their recent games and I think are skint due to their rich owner leaving.
Maybe they think they could get someone better, but in their position I doubt it. Boreham Wood (the previous club he was linked with) signed Adi Yussuf (who got 21 goals for Solihull last year), so he is clearly better than Alabi.
If you look at the last thing Alabi liked on Twitter, maybe he is being Boco'd? Although like Boco, I don't blame him... he is entitled to it and the error was ours, we shouldn't be grumbling over a small amount.

Re: **Alabi off!**
Why would we 'pay Eastleigh to take him'? That just doesnt happen. We will probably carry on paying a percentage of his wages, nothing more than that.
Re: **Alabi off!**
Means the same thing.
If Eastleigh don't want to pay the percentage we want, then we have to up our contribution, therefore it costs us more money. In effect we are giving Eastleigh a benefit even if no money crosses from our account to theirs.
I don't think he's an expensive player for us (although I reckon any agent would have negotiated a automatic increase in wages in the event of promotion) but even if his wage was halved that may still be expensive for the poorer National League clubs.
Could be a stalemate, if the buying clubs salary contribution was stupidly low, he does not want to leave, and we don't want to pay up his deal. In that case we might as well keep him as back-up in case other strikers got injured.

On sat we had Judd, Happe, Hector, Sargent, Ruel and Jananta all in the match day squad. That’s 6 players which is by any account pretty impressive. We’ve had a decent spell this past 5 years of good youth players with some now playing in the premier league. It would be great to hear what the youth section boss thinks, as it’s played and hopefully will continue to play a good part in our future growth as a team and club.
Thanks for your reply.
Sorry for not replying sooner. We will ask for Lewis who’s head of the academy and see what we can so! Thanks for the suggestion.
