Tom Elliott

Post by Harlow »

I see Tom Elliott has signed for Salford from Millwall. Now I haven't actually heard of this guy that I can remember but how comes Salford get a guy from under our noses from the championship whilst we are talking about a Grimsby striker with not a great record (I see Tom is a northerner which migt explain it)

After seeing Maldon take us apart I would quite like one or two of their guys

It's so unfair that another team have signed a player I've never heard of!

The link to a Grimsby striker is from an unreliable source - we can't control rumours. And as you say Elliott may be motivated by a move back north. Think that covers everything that needs to be said.

Apparently, Billy Elliott is available. Would dance all around opposition defenders.

Salford directors have just thrown £2.5 million into their coffers to improve the squad and bring facilities up to League One standard they are probably paying championship wages, we couldn't.

We won't be able to match that expect our transfers to be youngsters or players looking for one last contract who very few clubs would be chasing.

Grimsby have today signed Billy Clarke the former Ipswich forward another good player that would have improved us no end.
