Re: Gorman signs for Newport
He’s got no future at Orient so good luck to him . Alabi should follow him out the door for the same reason
Re: Gorman signs for Newport
Never really got a proper chance here, nor was he likely to, so best move for both parties.
Hopefully we get someone to replace him before Grimsby.

Re: Gorman signs for Newport
Signing this player who was long term injured at the time was a major error. Who did it?

Very much played his part in last seasons success, good luck to him. Hopefully we can bring in someone better.

Just checking, his contract is up at the end of this season isn’t it? Lingy ain’t given him until 2021 has he?

Can't agree about it being a major error. It's clear we hadn't anticipated getting out of the NL so quickly. We were promoted in year 1 of his deal and he would have been fine in the NL in year 2. He's just not what we need at the moment to improve in League Two and we've now been able to ship him out.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 6:51 pm Signing this player who was long term injured at the time was a major error. Yes, fortunately he is off the books entirely after this season.
Wonder how much of his salary we are retaining til then though.

Re: Gorman signs for Newport
Of course it was a major error. It’s incredible to think that our only business in the summer of 2018 was to bring in Gorman and Alabi.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 7:26 pmCan't agree about it being a major error. There is a good player in there somewhere. Newport? They are above us aren’t they. Let us see how he gets on.

But I still don’t reckon they were his players. I don’t pin them on him.

Re: Gorman signs for Newport
Maybe because it doesnt fit in with yours & others ling hatred or your not Ballsy enough to critique him.
Id call JE out for 2 bad signings with the knowledge of hindsight.
Bad Buisness JE
Im sure there was something you saw in them
But then i cant ask you , but i wont allow people to scapegoat others , who try to belittle your former employees & work colleagues for there own miserable gains.
Hope you understand Champ.

Re: Gorman signs for Newport
I think he hasn't actually been too bad this season. Writing though is on the wall when RE goes for Marsh, Kyprianou, Dayton & an out of form Clay over him.
