Grimsby this Saturday.

Post by Chief crazy horse »

I have no incentive for this game. I feel deflated and very very disappointed. The owners have been totally consumed with this Dof position which in turn has created this cosy little management clique and has absolutely hampered and restricted our manager selection process.
I'm now only 50-50 about going Saturday.

Oh give it a rest L7 and Spen. Can't you appreciate that people are unhappy with this decision and want to vent on a message board?

When you complain about these threads, as much as you'll deny it, you're really trying to shut down the debate, and that's not what this board is for.

It's bizarre virtue signalling. If you don't like the whinging threads, just ignore them.

I’m interested to see what this new keeper looks like, but that’s about it.

give it a rest?

Its not me starting hundreds of threads with the same topic.

Perhaps the whingers could give it a rest or at least just confine their whingeing to one thread, not a new thread for every post with the same whinge.

I am not complaining and trying to stifle debate. I am trying to stifle the spamming of the board with numerous threads on the same topic. By all means complain about the owner of an asset dealing with it in the way he wants to.

If you don't like my posts/ threads, then practice your own remedy and ignore them

I have been looking forward to this game for the last ten days. New goalie, hopefully a couple of players back from injury and the head coach situation sorted. Grimsby will bring 600 (+) fans and it should be interesting to follow the Embleton vs. Holloway encounter.

It just seems like me spunked our cash up the wall so not really surprised.

The goalie signing did surprise me though.Thought we'd manage with Sargeant for the rest of the season.

Our last couple of games have been awful but Sergeant has been a stand out performer in both games. Dropping him for Grimsby sends out the wrong message to a developing keeper.

Ignore threads if you don’t like them says the man/women who doesn’t like numerous negative threads about our new appointment but instead of ignoring them is commenting on them.

I think he should play the new keeper, while seargent hasn’t made any major mistakes if this new guy is as good as they tout he should start.

I bet they are. Their owners have just demonstrated a bit of flair and ambition to go forward. Whatever anyone thinks of Holloway, he's very experienced and has done the rounds of sorts, and no doubt has given the club and it's fans a tremendous lift. He may or may not be successful, and if he does fail at least the owners, unlike us, have given it a go.
So yes, Grimsby fans, and again unlike us, would be riding high at this moment in time.

I fear that this will be a comfortable win for Grimsby, unless Embleton can inspire the lads to put in a good performance.
