John Sittons Twitter!

Post by Footballfan »

Just like to ask how many of you orient fans have read John Sittons Twitter feed? Ive never read such self obsessed, deluded rubbish in all my life. A little research reveals he has one of the worst managerial records of all time!
Bitter as hell and even written a book. Nothing in it beyond 1995 id imagine. Most people that dont support orient would never have heard of him yet john compared himself better than steve Bruce yesterday!
Hes a Taxi driver now according to hisTwitter.....and not a fan of UBER. Feel for his wife!

He would walk into any of our sides in the last 20 years, a very decent defender who always gave 100%.

John's aware of this thread.. He tweeted about it.
I too think John is bitter, but he may have good reasons to be . He was left out in the cold by all clubs, for some reason, thus" forcing him to do the knowledge".
I think he accepts he will never get a coaching job in league football again.
He was never my style of manager/coach, but he's an OK guy.

If the players we had at the time showed a similar commitment that he did as a player he wouldn’t have been put in that position.

Good tough player . Very passionate . Nice bloke met him a few years ago . You can only judge someone how they treat you . I think his view on players being up celebrating new year before a game the next day was a good point of poor discipline

You can only speak as you find and he is a good and decent man. He helped me massively back in the day.

Echo what others have said : - was a decent and committed defender for the club.

His main chagrin during his spell as manager was based around players failing to show the same level of commitment that he did - fair enough, he's entitled to his opinion.

Shot himself in the foot massively with the documentary, and the game closed ranks, leaving him on the outside.

Not sure that he's 'bitter', (I don't have Twitter) but maybe he needs to move on a bit. I for one wish the bloke well.

£750k views (to the Terry Howard sacking one) - a lot of non-O's people know John, I was at that particular game.

Embarrassing
No wonder he didn’t get another chance in Football again and fact is he was only co/assistant Manager twice round
Completely f*cked up his Andy Warhol moment
And I for one am happy he did
Total f*** wit of a man

I agree. Anyway, just look at the circumstances he was trying to manage under . Most of his players were no where good enough and the club was broke and going under. Thanks to John Sitton and Chris Turner, they held our club together. Thanks to them at least we still had a club for Barry Hearn to save

I had the very dubious pleasure of being at that Brentford away game on Boxing Day and it was easily the most dog poo poo half of football I've ever witnessed from an Orient team and I've seen a few in my time....

So extremely easy to understand Sitton’s anger. Let’s be honest here, everything he said in that video clip was correct. He told the players the truth and sometimes the truth hurts.

Fletcher was sacked because he said he do it a certain way , then went a different way altogether.

All because he was a big shot loan manager in the EPL

He could have left & gone back to Bournemouth
Deception of fulfilling a plan , by ignoring the plan
Is a little different .
