How many points did you expect him to get with more or less the same squad?

You mean, like the snipes you continually take at other boarders who don't fall in line with your way of thinking ?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 3:05 pmYou're still incapable of actually thinking and instead just prefer snipes at the club. It's partly a byproduct of us winning promotion and having some inadequate players with term still remaining on their contracts, partly due to needing to re-sign some out of contract players that Edinburgh had wanted to keep for stability and partly other reasons. We can't just get rid of contracted players and immediately replace them.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 2:42 pmThat’s Lings fault, Ross’s bessy mate !Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 2:33 pm
Quite a few of the players probably aren't good enough for this league, that's not Ross's fault.

JE applied for the Job & Got itPoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 7:08 pmJE was the man and that was proven by us getting promoted automatically on points.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 6:22 pmResults prove that having your main man snatched away at 49 rips a football club apart.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 6:18 pm
A chance maybe, they have had that and blown it big time, time to get rid along with Embleton who has had his chance and shown he has not got what it takes , the results prove this beyond a doubt !
Nothing else you have ever stated on this subject is proof.
It is conjecture only.
RE is not the man and that has been proven by his tactics and not delivering on points, end of !!!.
Ross didnt & only got it because
JE Died.

Please can you stop trolling my posts. If you have genuinely intelligent points to respond with then fair enough, but you've yet to come up with anything remotely resembling that.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 7:39 pmYou mean, like the snipes you continually take at other boarders who don't fall in line with your way of thinking ?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 3:05 pmYou're still incapable of actually thinking and instead just prefer snipes at the club. Trolling you? my arse! I'm merely responding to your incessant, dogmatic tone of digging out other people's post's that have differing views to yourself. Maybe you should give your own posts a little more thought sometimes, instead of continually writing others off as 'rubbish'.
But, no hard feelings, Smen.

Re: The Ross Embleton problem
Embleton may have the potential to be a good, even great, manager. But he's some years away from it, and exposing him in this way is likely not the way to help him get there. This should be obvious to Travis & Teague now, even if the intermediaries they've appointed (Ling, for football matter, Macklin for commercial/off-field) aren't able to grasp the nettle.
For the sake of his own development, professional reputation, and mental health, Embleton should be restored to his previous role - and the sooner the better. The longer he stays in post, the more the opportunity for the club and him to progress is lost, and the harder it will be for him to accept the return to "normality".
For T&T this is their first lesson in how running a football club, with all the attendant emotions, eccentricities and irrationality, differs from running a "normal" business.

Re: The Ross Embleton problem
Yes, I certainly get the feeling with all this management quandary that behind the scenes, everyone are sort of pissing in the wind not knowing which way to go with it. All more or less self inflicted as well.
Re: The Ross Embleton problem
Will today be the day?
Unless Ling has had a huge U-turn, we all know he thinks Embleton is up to it. The resistance has to be coming from others on the board, and it must take some kind of negotiations to make a deal palatable to all. I feel that is the delay rather than wanting focus on games.
Either he is backed properly like an external manager would be, or removed from the first-team picture altogether.

Re: The Ross Embleton problem
Well no,Up, but just think of the probable scenarios going on. ' What about Webby?' 'well yes, maybe, maybe not'. What about Jobi then, just got his badge? 'Don't know if he's ready yet'. 'Ling wants Ross.' I know, but I'm not sure he wants it. In fact I don't think anyone knows'. 'OK, well what about those two experienced managers that were very keen?' 'they don't want to work with a DOF'. oh, right'. ' But I've just heard that that experienced manager x is showing a lot of interest in us.' Great, get him in for an interview.' ' OK, but the thing is he wants to bring in his own team'. 'oh sh*t, where do we go from here?'.........'search me guv'.
What a mess.
