I get that but there’s another episode where he blags somehow to get home for the weekend and he has tickets to go see Spurs
There was another reference when NSF said, that whilst being in prison, he was lost in a fog with all the shady characters shuffling about.

I read a few of the Porridge books which I think came out before the TV series. He was definitely an O's fan in the books and made several references to them.
