The man has been awol this season.
Probably realised that slumming it in the bottom half of League 2 isn’t the same fun and games as topping the conference.
Kent is a class act. So is Nigel. And all the board. We're in good hands.
Our DoF, Head Coach, Manager issues will soon be resolved and we will find equilibrium in this division.
We will push on and find ourselves in League One in the not too distant future.
Whilst I think the club have dithered for way too long over this issue and could've sorted it out in the summer with a decent experienced manager the circumstances were unusual.
Ross wasn't the only choice in the summer and isn't the only choice now.
Also think we're hiding behind the 'Justin hangover'. As tragic as it was we shouldn't be using it as a smokescreen for inactivity.
This time will pass though.
As we've heard plenty of times, when we were in the National League we went looking for League Two players. Now we're in League Two we're looking for League One capable players. This should also apply to managers and coaches too. We should be looking to appoint managers and coaches that have achieved at League Two and have experience in League One. Tisdale, Nathan Jones, Holloway are the calibre of person we should be looking at.
We should also be reviewing our coaches, not particularly the set up. Is Ross capable of being a coach to League Two or League One standard players? Is Webby and is Jobi? If they are then why were they with us in the National League. Same for the goalkeeping coach, fitness coach, video analyser, the whole lot.
Why has the media guy gone to Bournemouth? Because they do things bigger and better no doubt with more resource. When we moved back into the professional game things are done better.
