" The Irishman " is that a film or the company you were keeping ? Edit, Oh yeah, I've just remembered it's that film with Robert De Nero.

Wouldn't dream of watching Paddington 1 never mind 2, but it wouldn't have to be very good to be better than The Irishman which I gave up on after about 90 turgid minutes

Re: I have just watched the best movie ever
Hugh Grant has said it’s the best film he’s ever been in. Not sure that counts for much.

Watched Trains, Planes and Automobiles last night. The film is 33 years old and it still makes me laugh out loud. Great film.
I think one of the best films ever was 12 years a slave.

Fair comment but at least Love Actually had Stacey getting her ya-ya's out.

BTTT - Constanza - Mrs Nes agrees with you, but she also likes the first Paddington almost as much.

Re: I have just watched the best movie ever
So it wasn't just me that was disappointed with 'The Irishman' ? I've seen much worse films but considering the hype around it I was expecting much more. The de-aging technology may have made the actors look younger (debatable) but what it didn't do was alter the fact that De Niro is now 76 and moves like a 76 year old. There was a fight sequence which was laughably bad. Also far too long, not interesting enough to justify 3 and a bit hours.
