Answers on a post card. The guy is class and when fit will add to the team. Don’t see any of this as an issue, money and contract length will be. He may perhaps want more than we can afford. I’d love to have him in the squad but he’ll be off elsewhere.

I have no idea if this is correct, especially over the past few years. Enlighten us all.

He took a knock this season, probably not ready to play, but want a list of other of our players who have missed games due to knocks this season, it’s a long one. When he was with us before he got injured and it was well reported he played when he shouldn’t have. Taking one for the team, no different than other of our players this season.

I don’t know if he is a sick note.

12 months fully fit on a standard L2 salary yes.

If he commands a premium then no, we've got enough time over summer to find others who fit the wage structure.

Think Andy Carroll would be any better than that other car crash of a player we had from West Ham chicken dance Kevin Nolan I found it hard to believe he was a former premier league player he was woeful

If a player keeps himself fit, & is lucky with injuries, the fact he is over 30 isnt a worry. most players in lower leagues are signed on 1 or 2 year contracts, so a player of 32 will only be 34 at the end of the contract( i can add up ), and at that time a new player would come in
On the original subject, I think Simmo is too much like Bonne in style, and i would like a hold up kinda striker instead, despite Simmos quality

Nah for one reason or another he couldn't get in a national League side he had 5 months to get fit if that was the issue.

Simpson was the worst player for us who played more than one game this season based on the ratings threads. An average of 5.13 in 8 appearances.

I've voted to offer him a 1 year contract. We know what quality he can bring when his fully match fit . Remember ,before he joined us he hadn't played for a long time so he was always playing catch up .I'd offer him another years contract and see how he goes . If he does well and Jay agrees, we can always extend it .
