Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
Could the under performance be in part due to at least one player attending an NYE party?

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
Extremely unfair comment . He's doing his best after being dropped in the deep end by Ling. He's a good coach , not a manager . I've defended Ling up until now but Martin has to accept his share of blame for this shambles .Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 10:54 pmOuch !Article_50 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 9:13 pm Embleton is an inept cretin, the sooner he fcks off the better

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
I think of Ross as being better suited to coach young players, perhaps running the youth academy would be more suited to his abilities.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:12 pmExtremely unfair comment . Interesting that he had a sitmf with a fan after the game.

He posted a photo on Instagram I think it was at midnight of him at an NYE party. Been doing the rounds on other social media platforms now.

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
There is nothing to suggest that is what should happen. My understanding is that he was a valued part of the machine under justin, who gave great leadership, guidance and instruction. As a coach your role is to put on a session that reflects what the manager wants to work on and he did it well along with Danny supporting as well.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:14 pmI think of Ross as being better suited to coach young players, perhaps running the youth academy would be more suited to his abilities.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:12 pmExtremely unfair comment . You only have to look at what went on before Justin and after, it’s that lack of leadership, drive, direction, motivation that’s lacking. Coaches need to coach, but they rely on direction from a manager.

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
Why do people behave like that? I might want a change of manager and I might want Ross to go back to be a good coach (which he is by the way) but there is no way I would slate at a game. He’s a nice guy and he don’t deserve abuse, reasons for changing his role are quite different to abusing someone.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:25 pm Interesting that he had a sitmf with a fan after the game.
Was it a well known fan? Or the same one as before?

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
They are not allowed to party or socialise or be in a pub I think it’s 72 hours before a game. I’m sure alcohol etc takes 48 hours to fully leave the system and not affect performance. So no he shouldn’t have been at a party unless of course the club has ok it.UpminsterO wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:15 am Which player - are they allowed to stay up at midnight if they don't drink and still get home for a a proper sleep for an way game leaving time

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
He has been undropable. Perhaps that explains why he was subbed today, I was shocked that he had the balls to eventually do it.gshaw wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:18 amJosh WrightUpminsterO wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:15 am Which player - are they allowed to stay up at midnight if they don't drink and still get home for a a proper sleep for an way game leaving time

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
It's the tactics, formations and team selection and during the past few weeks lack of rotation, we are always going to be overrun in midfield. You need to have forwards to hold the ball up, Leeds today in the first half had nobody, second half they had Bamford.

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
He was at home and watching Craig David on the t.v. before 11pm. I don't know what time a professional footballer goes to bed before a game but if he hasn't had a drink I don't think it's a huge issue. I probably wouldn't advise it but it's not like he was out until all hours.gshaw wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:18 amJosh WrightUpminsterO wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:15 am Which player - are they allowed to stay up at midnight if they don't drink and still get home for a a proper sleep for an way game leaving time

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
He was at his families shindig hosted by his brother. I'm sure he's a proper professional and never touched the alcohol.
Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
Does his brother live in the Midlands or something?
Would have thought the game would have meant an overnight stay in a hotel for the team.

Walsall were down to ten men and Embleton couldn't even inspire them to get a lousy draw. His feeble pathetic excuses make me sick !
