Meltdowns
I love the Meltdowns the silly old fool brigades have when we lose.
Honestly cheers me up No End , knowing how brutally a defeat affects them.

A weekly event now, still for you, makes it even better, you can have a ''wind up day today'' as an everyday treat to look forward to.
So anyway what bracket do you come under than, are you a member of the ''silly young fools'' brigade ?

Re: Meltdowns
We're Orient fans , God knows we're used to losing. The problem is now losing nearly every game is growing tiring. What makes things worse is our recent history over the past six years . Remember what we've been through and what it took for us to get back . That's why the, "Old Fools" as you've called us are a bit more sensitive than previous seasons . We simply cannot allow ourselves to be relegated again back down the the National League . Losing every week and it can happen. Action needs to be taken sooner rather than later or we could end up in trouble .

I dont support Celtic.

I agree with that to an extent . Yes , start afresh next season but just not back in the National League . Stating the bleeding obvious but we've got to start winning a few .tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:28 pmSo while the club is trying to heal itself from withinRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:26 pmErmm , I think you'll find we all felt that mate , thanks .

Re: Meltdowns
Sometimes there is a reason for meltdowns...not so long ago (2 Jan 2016) we had 26 points from 24 games - look familiar? That didn't end well. Yes there was a clown in charge, and the team went into their own meltdown but until points are in the bank people will vent their frustration with c**p performances.

Absolutely this, no-one would complain at mid-table mediocrity this season but the prospect of heading back to that tinpot crap league is unthinkable after all we went though to get back into real football again.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:31 pm I agree with that to an extent . Re: Meltdowns
Players having to fight for every hard-earned point against a bunch of non-league cloggers out to injure anyone with a modicum of skill. Battling for a single auto promotion spot which is the most unforgiving one to win. All whilst knowing if we don't do it in two seasons the financial implications point to "doing a Wrexham" and never getting out. What JE achieved was no mean feat.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:02 amWhat exactly did you go through.gshaw wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:56 pmAbsolutely this, no-one would complain at mid-table mediocrity this season but the prospect of heading back to that tinpot crap league is unthinkable after all we went though to get back into real football again.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:31 pm I agree with that to an extent . As a fan the football on show was dire, the opposition awful to watch. If we go back down to that again that's the end of my ST that's for sure. Not watching that poo poo again.

Re: Meltdowns
It's about the future of the club as it's barely sustainable as it is, not as a tinpot non-league side. That said if our level ends up being tinpot that's pretty much game over anyway.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:17 amSo its just about you & your sensitive nature of watching turgid football .gshaw wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:09 amPlayers having to fight for every hard-earned point against a bunch of non-league cloggers out to injure anyone with a modicum of skill. Future of the Club ?

Finances as the owners have said. Likes of the academy are unsustainable at NL level, plus Hearn's ever-increasing rent with no TV money coming in.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:25 amFuture of the Club ?It's about the future of the club as it's barely sustainable as it is, not as a tinpot non-league side. Club will be so short of ticket sales if they get relegated again they'll sell to anyone and anything

The only concern you should have is that of the team & its on field stuff.
Trying to bring off field stuff into an argument about how tough it is to.follow us
is pretty irrelevant.

Re: Meltdowns
If the players and coaches bucked their ideas up and started doing what they're paid handsomely to do to,. ie. win a few football matches, there wouldn't be any meltdowns. Pretty simple really
