Right place right time today which is what you want from a striker.

That, and it was a 1pm kickoff so everyone can get home and back on the booze earlier than if it was a 3pm ko

Looked lively and poached his goal well, as above the only bright spot today really. Well played Ruel.

Agreed . At Newport go 4-4-2 with Sotiriou up front with Angol if Wilkinson is still injured.

But which of tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum do we play in CM to get hopelessly overrun?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 5:48 pmAgreed . At Newport go 4-4-2 with Sotiriou up front with Angol if Wilkinson is still injured.

Starting today with just one up front gave their back four an easy afternoon.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 5:48 pmAgreed . At Newport go 4-4-2 with Sotiriou up front with Angol if Wilkinson is still injured.
Very pleased for Ruel. An easy goal, a tap in, but he was in the right place at the right time, the mark of a good striker.
I think that he would have been more of a threat today than Dayton.

Re: Congratulations to Ruel Sotiriou for his first Orient goal
The interim head coach failed to play Harrold when he persisted or was told to play Alabi. He has failed to give an opportunity to Ogie after being man of the match in his first game against i think it was southend. Hector got MOTM and then got dropped. Ruel gets recalled from loan weeks ago and doesn't give him a chance until today when we've nothing left.
There is nothing to suggest that the interim head coach will give the kids a chance or anyone who is not an favourite.

Problem is Wright and Clay need Dayton dropping back in to give them the extra man, they can’t compete 1 v 1.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 6:12 pmStarting today with just one up front gave their back four an easy afternoon.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 5:48 pmAgreed . Agree so much. Give kyprianou Sotiriou ogie a game! Can’t do any worse then some of the recent players!

Re: Congratulations to Ruel Sotiriou for his first Orient goal
Agree with everything you say about RE not making the right decisions as to who to play and not giving the younger players a fair chance to introduce themselves into the first team. Also nothing about this interim head coach to suggest that he is the right man to become the full time ''Head Coach/Manager.Thor wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 6:32 pm The interim head coach failed to play Harrold when he persisted or was told to play Alabi. Especially Hector Kyprianou, I think if all goes well, he has a future in higher league football ahead of him.Lofctillwedie wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 8:50 pmAgree so much. Give kyprianou Sotiriou ogie a game! Can’t do any worse then some of the recent players!

A was looking forward to seeing Kyprianou, make his home league debut against Bradford, but no back comes Clay.

And that's exactly why we need a new central midfielder in January in the Dawson/Vincelot mode.gshaw wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 5:54 pmBut which of tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum do we play in CM to get hopelessly overrun?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 5:48 pmAgreed .
