My favourite, is the old chestnut about people having their eyeball pulled out of it's socket for the eye to be cleaned etc. As if the optic nerves were a piece of elastic. When I worked at BT, their was a youngster who was a bit of a "topper". We were discussing this topic ( it is surprising the amount of people who believe this myth ) and our friend the topper said "Oh! Yes it is possible. I had my eye cleaned out at Moorfields ". Any other stories of a similar nature. Please don't tell us you have had your eye pulled out to your cheek. I reckon that's worth a Boarding ban!
