ORIENT - SPEED

Post by bobo66 »

Is it just me, or do we seem to be slower that other teams?

We appear slow when attacking (when was the last time we had a breakaway?) and we seem to be slow of thought, hence all our shots on Saturday were blocked.

Thought reading the headline, the club had branched out into a new income stream.

could be very lucrative and easy to launder money through a football club

Yes if you watch the top teams most of them attack quickly.

The team look slow because their default move is to pass backwards.

Also thinking about it we've rarely seen a breakaway with, say Angol running at the opposition in the way Koroma and Bonne used to. Always seems to be a case of long balls with his back to goal feeding off scraps instead. The formation, while the best we can do with the CM we have really does seem to stifle our attacking options.

Not sure what you are expecting we have poor coaches.
