Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
I honestly am baffled by the decisons ML makes in respect of his football decisons. What was the point of calling the boy back from his loan, where he incidentally was doing rather well to not even have him on the bench. I said previously I'd have kept him out on loan so as to help his development,
Instead our DOF decides I know what I'll stop his development, I wont let him stay there, play and learn, I'll call him back and won't put him near the first team.
Its just baffling and shows the lack of joined up thinking from the DOF once more.
It's getting on my nerves now.

What's baffling is you not understanding football, a bit like you don't understand politics.

Presumably the thinking was Hector was on the bench and they can’t have more than one kid.
Dayton was a waste of a sub.

I just don't understand why we recalled him and don't even have him on the bench . He could have stayed at Dover and got some more valuable first team experience . The club should let him return to Dover and let him play.RedO wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 7:10 pmAgreed.Thor wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 5:52 pm I honestly am baffled by the decisons ML makes in respect of his football decisons. Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
With a busy Christmas period coming up, Ruel will probably get his chance, be it from the bench.
Fair enough if he was ill today but we need to at least give him a chance having called him back from Dover.
On another subject, it’s looking bleak for James Alabi now, not on the bench today and surely on the move in January.

They can only move him on in January if he agrees to a move, be it a loan out or signing for another club.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 8:16 pm With a busy Christmas period coming up, Ruel will probably get his chance, be it from the bench.

So far looks like he did not want to take either of those options.

If any club shows interest in Alabi (either loan or permanent) then he would be a fool not to take it.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 12:45 pmThey can only move him on in January if he agrees to a move, be it a loan out or signing for another club.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 8:16 pm With a busy Christmas period coming up, Ruel will probably get his chance, be it from the bench.

I think his contract at Orient is up at the end of the season and there’s no chance in hell he’s getting an extension.
Likely to struggle to even make the bench for the rest of this season so it’s not like he’ll be getting his name out there. Could find himself without a club and no interest from anybody in the summer of 2020.
At least if he goes out on loan he might get some games, and who knows even some goals which will boost interest in him when he becomes a free agent.
If a club actually offers him a permanent transfer with a contract then even better for him.
He’s barely a conference level player, although he might do a job in the conference South.

I agree with all you say, but as to if Alabi agrees with you is another story. I am surprised that he has not already asked to go out on loan this season in order to get some playing time under his belt.Huxley wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:08 pmIf any club shows interest in Alabi (either loan or permanent) then he would be a fool not to take it.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 12:45 pmThey can only move him on in January if he agrees to a move, be it a loan out or signing for another club.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 8:16 pm With a busy Christmas period coming up, Ruel will probably get his chance, be it from the bench.

Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
Another Ling mess up. He should have left him on loan, recalling him as he did suggests a lack of joined up thinking between him and RE. If RE is not going to play him or allow him to earn his place in the team then what benefit is there to him being back here? Let him stay on loan improve his game, gain experience and come back hopefully a better player.
Waste of the boys time in my personal opinion. Shame cos I like him and I don't think he’s been handled too well over this.
