Widdowson isn't playing. Wright is and it's 442.
Otherwise you're exactly right.

Anyway looks like 4-3-3 to me, or 4-3-1-2. About the best we can do with the players we have.
Annoying that Ross goes on about form players keeping their place and then Kyprianou gets dropped despite being good. Weak.
No Sotiriou on the bench either...don't see why we recalled him.

Blimey I must be more ill than I thought, yup you're right (or Wright) as case would have it. Lineup edited.

Clay instead of one of our best players at Oldham? Huge gamble by Ross IMO.
Still; hello from Bergen.

Anyone have a link to radio commentary?
Can’t make the game today, but would like to listen as I’m currently on a train.

Low-key start. It's so quiet down here, feels like a pre-season friendly apart from a few verses from the Bradford fans now and again

Happe (?) makes a vital last-ditch sliding tackle after Bradford slide a through ball down the middle of the defence.
Wilkinson header hits the bar after a cross from the left.

Everyone's freezing their bollox off is why I imagine.
Three central midfielders and we've had sod all possession so far. Helpful that the Bradford fans are booing Wright, must have been twenty minutes in before he got his first proper touch.

JMD's crosses look our best creative outlet as it stands. Put a decent free kick in, keeper spilt it but we couldn't capitalise on the resulting scramble. Just get that feeling Bradford are biding their time and can go up a gear or two as the game goes on.

Don't sound much of a game.
It really isn't. A few tasty challenges going in, that's about it.

Sargeant stands up well and saves from Bradford striker who got in behind Turley down our right. Their pacy players definitely something to be wary of as game goes on.
HT, that first 45 certainly dragged

Poor first half. A couple of good crosses by JMD, but not more than that.
Big Marv had done well.

Very flat in midfield, Wilkinson looks about as much of a right winger as Jezza. Clay, Wright and Marsh are all basically the same type of midfielder, they don't complement each other at all. And we have a centre back on the left so JMD - who's been our liveliest player - is getting isolated. Doesn't really reflect well on Ling that we have a squad that doesn't really suit any formation.

Quote of the day for me
We look a bit more solid at the back with Turley over Coulson but got very little going forward. Angol battling well but he's being fed scraps.

JMD crosses are on a different level than Brophy, but he is better at beating him man. A combination would be perfect!

If only we had a decent ball-winning CM we could play two in the middle and use our two assets out wide at the same time
