All politicians tell lies, always have done and thats across all parties nothing new in your comment.
This is the hackneyed excuse that is being put out time and time again by those trying to deflect from the Tories inherent dishonesty. Doh was always trotting out this bollox - that all politicians are the same, they all lie, can't choose between them etc etc - ad nauseum. It seems you've now picked up the baton.
The Tories lie much more than the other parties. They are not the same as the others. They lie about everything. They wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and French kissed them. The Tories will say (lie about) anything and everything to remain in power. They are the Liverpool or Man City of liars. The other parties can't get close.

I was not defending any one party, nor was I accusing any one party, just making the point that they all lie.
I didn't realise there was a league table, if you could tell me how points a lie is and if one lie attracts more points than another lie, that would be great.

I have and you have no basis for the statement, as per usual.
As per usual you're a silly sausage.
Again you attack someone with a nasty comment. You are getting worse with your language towards others. Take a chill pill.
What's wrong with that Gilso. Doh, you, Spen, Stockholm, lucky7, redcard and greyhound do it all the time. I just assumed it was allowed and nobody was too bothered by it.
I don't see you calling them out. So fuckrightoff you w*nker.
I don't swear at anyone on here, again making unfounded accusations about me. You need to prove your comment or retract it please.
In respect to me calling them out, how do you know what I do? Maybe I report it to the mods, maybe I don't, but one thing is for sure I dont have to answer to you about my actions. They are answerable to themselves and if they upset you then you can report them.

"Just making the point that they all lie" - what is that if not an attempt to create a level playing field between the parties. They all lie so how can you trust any of them. they're all the same etc etc. They aren't. The Tories lie all the time, consistently. No other party does. Stop trying to deflect from the Tories dishonesty and untrustworthiness.

But the point remains that they all lie. That's a factual statement.
Yes, I'm not going to argue that all Parties will have lied at some point. So, let's move on.
The point here, as you very well know, is that by making a simplistic statement "all parties lie" you're trying to say they're all as bad as each other and that is not the case. This is an attempt to make the Tories appear to be no worse (with regard to lying) than any other party. That's not the case.
The Tories lie all the fecking time, about everything. The other parties don't.

What part of this statement does this unfunny alias fella not understand?

What part of my factual statement dont you understand? I've not disputed what Bonio has said, I accept what he says, he accepts what I say.
What's hard for you to understand? Shouldn't you be on the other board?
So you do accept that the Tories are the supreme liars here compared to the other parties. Great stuff.

show me where I swear at anyone on here maybe only once.
might disagree, but rarely do I swear unlike you and many others.
The political system we have forces people to lie, it is predelated on arguement rather than consensus. One party cannot be seen to be agreeing with another. In the past we had what was called 'Statesmanship', remember that? They were able to put a well reasoned case with logic and pragmatism that would not require lies.
Unfortunately we have drifted into the US and Australian style of politics in the last couple of decades, due mainly to the influence of 'special advisors'. The coming of Trump has now shown how far this disease has spread, lying has become the easy way of convincing voters especially those who want their own opinions and predudices reinforced. Any other opinion being fake news, "we don't need experts", fantasy, magic money trees, et al.
How we get out of this is the difficult thing. I think the next parliament is going to be one of the nastiest we have ever seen, regardless of who wins today.

I disagree, politicians choose to lie. No one forces them to lie.
They lie because they are prepared to achieve their desired end result by any means whatsoever.

I don't disagree with your background analysis, but it is the politicians' choice to lie.
