He’s a really good signing for them. He should do well down there.

Maybe he has been injured, but he hasn`t played one game this season for FGR.

On his day Lloyd was one of our best ‘passers’ of a ball. We don’t have anybody like him in CM now.

So much for being "a really good signing" for Torquay.

He was the weak link in the best Orient side of the past 40 years.

Thought he’d be older than that by now.

We were a better team with Lundstram that season

Didn`t James have a poor first season with us, but then did really well in his second season? (a bit like Andy Harris)

Yes he did, was excellent second season. Thought he would be great in the conference. Like others thought he was older.

Yeah, I thought he was awful in that first season. It didn’t help that slade played him at right back half the time.

We only won three of the nine games he played in. James was our best midfielder that season.

Better than Cox, Odubajo and Sir Vincalot? I don’t think so.

Never one of my favourite players, could never see much in him as a player. Wish him well though.

A deep lying playmaker, the sort of player that will never be popular at this level. A centre mid that cant tackle and wont run about but doesnt really have the talent to ping the ball about for others either. See also Josh Wright, Matt Spring.

Why would a midfielder that can’t tackle or pass the ball never be popular?

Why would they? Each player has to offer something.

At what level do you think a midfielder that can't tackle or pass would be popular?

I quite liked Matt Spring, but maybe it's just looking back with rose coloured spectacles. He used to be able to consistently pass the ball and set-up play going forward. I wish we had someone like that now.

At a higher level the players have better passing ability.
