Re: Positive News
Or another spin on story is company ripped offshore much profit from customers they were embarrassed.
The poor customers who paid over the odds to enable company to give away the money.....
Can always find another side to a story

Re: Positive News
Spen capilitism works on the basis of making profits and it could be argued ever increasing profits hurts society in some way shape or form. The fact that they have shared the good fortune out among staff should be commended and not sneered at.
Why should companies make let’s say a hundred million profit for example and not use that profit to help the people who created it in the first place to share in that success and help them get on and have a better or easier life? Now I’m sure this example company has a bonus scheme in place and the workers might get a 10% bonus, still decent I’ll accept. But 10% of 26k (used ave uk earnings) is £2.6k before tax still it’s better than nothing. Now the boss man who earns a million pounds a years receives a bonus of 500k before tax. Now that’s 50% bonus on a shed load of money verses 10% of not a lot of money.
A fairer distribution would be better and the fact that the company in the article did it should be appaulded rather than dig out. What we need is more companies doing the same.

[\quote] the fact that they have replied customers off by overcharging so much is not something I would applaud
To rip off many to distributeto a small clique is not something to applaud

Re: Positive News
How do you know that they ripped off their customers? A property can only sell for the market value, not more as the customer will take their business to the next property.

Re: Positive News
I disagree if a company is very good at what they do they can make more out of the market value of the properties they work with than the competition. If they work more efficiently and quickly than other realators they can offer customers a better deal as well and still make a good profit.
