just saying I would rather hold my child than let him lay on a hard floor.
look closely at the photo and there is a pair of trolley wheels beside him
and I no what you will say there is another patient on it.

nowhere have I said it not true just saying what I would do.
like screaming my head of until he was seen to.
Trouble with screaming your head off at a hospital while waiting to get into it , is that other people are likely to walk up & scream at you while there children ae also
Facing life threatening situations.

Makes me laugh when a w*nker says he'll scream & shout , forgetting tjere might be bigger w*nkers ready to knock the f*cker on his arse for being a mouthy
pr*ck.

I've known people like Greyhound before. brainless arseholes who have a smug comeback for everything. Full of opinions and constantly judging others whilst having no self-awareness at all. They'd never do this or that like those mugs over there, they'd get this or that with a snap of their fingers blah blah blah. Life is all so simple if you just do things the way they do them, apparently. Insufferable.

Duvb believes any old crap if it confirms his warped view of the World. If it reinforces his right wing bias it's true, if it criticises Bojo and his ilk it's clearly fake news . Sad sack.

So part of a conspiracy straight out of Conservative Party Central Office that tried to lie to the voters.

They don't have much respect for the electorate or democracy. Do they?

Funnily when my.mum was taken to hospital last year on a day where the place was rammed (90 minute wait ) , some tw*t came in screaming about 2 hour waits for ambulances & that he had to drive his colleague to Hospital & demanding someone to help his work colleague who had broken her leg ,
(upper thigh ).which can be a threat to life due to blood loss ,
There was a queue of ambulance stretchers with people on them, most elderly & in major pain or distress ,
As he got to about 6 foot from me he was attacked verbally & struck with a handbag around the head by a 73 year old woman who had come in with her 99 year old mother & then kicked in the shin by a 60+ old boy standing next to his wife.

He was curtly told to shut up by the entire queue of patients & escorted from the biilding by a member of hospital staff .

My initial thought was im glad he didnt get to me , i dont think i would have been able to.attack the fella.

Utterly sickening that this is a real situation.

I have some sympathy for the "tw*t" who came in screaming, though. I broke my femur in 1984 and was rushed in to Whipps Cross. The ambulance men very carefully managed to scrape me off the road in Buckhurst Hill, and even with gas and air it was sheer agony and I was screaming though the mask. A (luckily) passing doctor also put in a saline drip as the blood loss from the break was causing significant shock. That was with trained professionals with all the equipment at their disposal. Trying to load a colleague or friend into a car with a similar injury does not bear thinking about - she must have been in terrible pain and he must have been beside himself.

Obviously that's no excuse for bad manners, but I can see why he was upset.

It was the 3rd time my Mum had been in casualty in 6 weeks
She couldnt swallow anything as her throat was in spasm caused by medication.
Her lungs which had a chronic disease were also half full of fluid as she had her water tablets
stopped.due.to rapid & severe weight loss
We also found out that the bacteria that killed her was surging through her lungs.

The 99 year old lady had had a minor stroke but at that age nothing is minor, &
as far as i remember the fellas wife was dealing with a suspected heart attack.

I'll be honest if he had of got to me id be in jail now for murder,
or the very least GBH.
Although saying that a couple of the ambance guys looked like
they were ready to do the same thing as me, as most of them
were already an hour over there end of shift, with no gaurentee how
quickly there patient would be seen.

Basically the way he was barging through people trying to get to The bit after AAU on the ambulance side ( majors & minors ). If he had gone to A & E maij entrance it would have been a lot easier to process.

The part of the hospital he came in through was for amhulance ferried patients only.
Those who were in immediate danger of death or those who were at risk enough
that it could go either way.

Having said that , id agree the cuts to Hospitals is the major reason why went it goes off on a bad day they are struggling like crazy.

Talking to some ambulance drivers who regularly ended up doing 14 hour shifts instead of there
12 hours because they cant get them into the department for queues.

Which they dont get paid for.

The number of beds has halved consistently over the last 30 years, despite consistently having an above average inflation increase over the period.

However the number of doctors has increased from 57,000 to 150,000. Almost a 3 fold increase. Nurses/midwives have increased from 550,000 to 693,000 in the same time.

The population has increased by 10 million (57 to 67 million)in this about 17.5%.

So the question is with such an increase in numbers and funding, why has the number of beds halved?

Because we have a Tory govt for the few (private health) and not the many.

So how do you account for the fact that 40% of the beds were lost during Tony Blair's tenure? Just to put things in context during the previous labour government of 74-79, they reduced beds by 50,000.

He won’t answer you, he never does when faced with an argument counter to what he wants.

If what you post is correct in terms of doctors and nurses, where are they all? Worst still is that if the beds have disappeared like you claim then that’s a pretty big scandal across all three parties. Restore the beds, increase the doctors and let’s get the nhs working better.

Johnson hiding in a fridge this morning to avoid reporters whilst his aide tells the hacks to F-off - all live on Good Morning Britain - probably wasn’t the best look. Even the Mail has reported it like that.
