Where is our next win going to come from?

Post by Fanny »

Bradford (h), Colchester (h) and Newport (a) are all tricky fixtures.

As it stands I can’t see us winning any of them. Newport is the most likely as they have been on a bad run of late, but Sod’s law dictates that they’ll hit some form just as we pay a visit.

I reckon we’re looking at 1 point from our next 3 games.

Got to be looking to win at least one of the home games.

I'm not sure it matters who we are playing. We lost against Morecambe and Scunthorpe, who were both useless, but we were worse. We only drew against Carlisle and Oldham, who are also both useless.

It's going to come from us appointing a proper manager.

(or possibly by out-passioning a team even more tactically clueless than us - it will happen at some point)

100% this..sh*t teams are queuing up to get their full quota of points and we don’t disappoint them

Think it'll be away at Cambridge. A drab 0-1.

We seem a better away side than home tbh.
Dictating the play doesn't seem to suit us, think we lack pace and are too predictable. Playing a high line has also seen us concede goals.

Feel more comfortable with the counter attack, seem to have more players suited to this.

The relegation thing could be close. The bottom five sides are all under new management, Crawley have as well. I'd imagine Mansfield must be pretty close to firing theirs. Macclesfield won't be part of the mix-up if their takeover goes through.

In seasons where there are no runaway teams (ie. 2012-2014), points needed for 23rd are between 46-49. So we need probably 6-7 wins from 26.
